Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     7. OH! This one just slays me! Definitely going on wishlist for sure! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE feminine men! :aheartbea

      The thing I love the most is his eyes! I just love that shape for the eyes. The only thing I would change is the faceup really. Give him the appearance of subtle high cheek bones, and no light blue eye shadow! Lol, I'm not the biggest fan of light blue eye-shadow...


      Edit: I actually asked Raurencio if they would make a Stella boy, and he seems very similar! So, maybe they did take my suggestion to heart!

      For those thinking he is too feminine, I think people really need to imagine him with a faceup more like Stella. If you make the faceup more subtle and "boyish" he would look more manly and would fit fine on the body. Or, at least, he won't look any more awkward than the the Sards who are pretty much female heads on fairly masculine bodies.

    8. Well, I requested some pics where Adonis is in full view. You really have to see the whole package to be able to figure out whether or not this is the doll for you. It would be great if they set him up in a garden with little cherubs around him. ^^

    10. So, I asked them if they could do an overall look. Their reply was that Adonis is a "concept" doll and they weren't planning on doing more pics. Not really sure what this means. I asked them again to see what their reply will be.

    12. *sigh* I really wish they had taken some pictures of him that showed how the head sits on the body. It's a really beautiful head from what I can see, but I don't find it all that useful to see just the head if they are selling a full doll; the flow of the head through the neck, and the suitability of that head with the rest of the body is always important.

    13. Okay, the reply I got was that we should use our imagination to bring this guy to life. He does come with the new double jointed body though as will all their male dolls. I did try to explain to them that everyone would like an overall look to Adonis, but that isn't what they envisioned for this guy. (_ _) Maybe if some of you make some more requests on their Q & A they may listen?

      Maybe there's a resin and size match for some other company's SD male body? A more, how should I put it...feminine one? Anyone?

    16. After being introduced to Adonis *waves* I have to say that I think
      "he" would make a gorgeous girl!! Really lovely sculpt. It's a shame
      they don't want to show the full doll though...is there any way to PS
      them together? I know their pictures of him are at really odd angles
      and he's pretty much covered in tulle...

      Has anyone ordered him yet??

    17. No, I think he would look nice on a muscled body too. I've always liked the adrogynous face + muscular body aesthetic, it reminds me of bishounen style art by people like Heise and Ayami Kojima...

      I agree, I am looking forward to someone ordering him. I've really been liking what raurencio have been putting out latley. (Why must I be so poor?)

      They are selling his head separately for people who would like to try on a different body, or make him girl...

    18. They are selling the head seperately? I might have to get one then. Not that I don't like the body, but I'd prefer something more around the 60cm range. I'm too short to handle big dolls!
