Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. I think it is, personally, especially since the doll was initially a gift from Volks. However, I know that someone will be along shortly to tell us that doll owners can do whatever they please with their dolls, regardless of what anyone else may think.

    3. Well sure they can ask it! But just check back in 6 months and see if it's still there! (I would guess it will be!) I would never pay that for that doll! It is super cute and all, but...

    6. Well anybody can do what he wants but... From my point of view there are to many cute molds, so yep, this one is cute, but "X" is also beautifull and I also love "Y". I would prefer to have many other dolls instead of only one. (And personally, I would not like to pay this amount for a doll that was free for his first owner).

      (Hmmm, that Rei-tenshi would be the equivalent for... yes it is 7 Puki fullsets with theirs wigs, dresses and optional parts. So like ReineDeLaSeine14 I would sing up for the army XDDD)

    7. At first, I thought it was a joke and then realized it wasn't. It doesn't even have many joints! You can get a Puki for $138 + shipping. OK, so this is a special doll, but if you won it, wouldn't you want to keep it? And... she bought it through a Japanese auction, so it's 3rd hand to my way of thinking. Arggghhhh....

    8. It's only less then $2,000. I've seen Rei-Tenshi go for $3,000 before.

      Theses little ones are among the most coveted of volks dolls, they are only given away free from the company at Volk's dolpas and other events. Rei-tenshi's are not available any other way.
      Not many want to sell their little angels. So it's rare to see them up for sale.

      I just surprised that it's up for sale at a low price for Rei-tenshi

    9. Seconded! I think that's pretty reasonable for a Rei, actually!

      Price is subjective. Worth, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. I think all of us in this hobby are familiar with this concept by now. :)

    11. That is really cheap for a Rei, especially one with so many joints. Not that I'd ever spend that much, but someone will!

      That's just the nature of such a rare doll, I guess. I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be tempted to sell one for that price if I had it, I'd just look at it all the time and think about all the dolls I want that I could buy with it.

    12. The only way to understand it is to know there are not many made they are very rare. Puki there are allot of them! you are paying for the rarity factor and the fact that you love it. They are only given out as prizes at volks events. So you can't compare this doll to others. So this is a pretty exceptional situation.

      But would I spend that much ...at the momment ..
      I would think twice ,especially knowing they are a gift in the fist place

      its that bloody hard to get any limmited Volks in the Uk ..so it wouldnt matter to me if it was this one ..or Suzzuna ..the effort in geting one is the same LOL :)
      Its a pain

      then the custom charges getting this into the UK would be crippling !

    14. *ahum* some time in the past not so very long ago I fullheartly said I would never ever spend that much money on an Unoa. Now I'm servant to 2 full Unoas and a hybrid . . . never say never

    15. Yes, that isn't that much money at all for a Rei by auctions I've seen. Since it's the holidays, I imagine it'll hang around a little, but I've no doubt it will definitely get sold.

    16. I agree with many who have said that is low price for a Rei Tenshi. I was actually surprised at how low the price was. It is super rare. It does not matter the size of the doll, it is the sculpt and how hard it is to get. When you look at that price compared to what other Volks limiteds go for on the aftermarket, it is not that surprising that these little ones can go for this amount.

    18. I don't think I would buy a doll at that price ever. I have student loans and a future to plan. Someday I would like to have children and send them to college!

      However, if someone really loves the doll, by all means...go for it. :) I just think it's a shame because it is a gift doll. I wouldn't want to sell a gift.

    20. With any collectible it's the amount of money people are willing to pay for it, not how much it could be worth. Whether or not it's expensive or cheap makes little difference, if someone is willing to pay that much, then it's not ludicrous. The thing is in the past Volks rare dolls have gone for that price and more *but* recently I've seen the After Market prices drop a bit... So who knows. Incidentally, the seller also has a U-noa Quluts on sale, so I'm sure she's well versed in the going price for the dolls.
