1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Saintbloom Tiny discussion part 1

Mar 31, 2012

    1. I bought 4-5 inch faux fur wigs at Etsy and shoes at eBay. I'm still looking for nice fibre wigs, but I want to make clothes myself.

    2. I ordered a 4-5 fiber wig from Leeke, I'll keep you updated if it looks as nice as the store photos.

    3. Sorry for the double post!

I got my shoes from Facets by Marcia today. I am still waiting for my Charlie to arrive so for now I have found an adequate substitute to get a sense of scale while I make stuff for my incoming girl. It's a Monster High Boy... and he looks fabulous!

The great thing about my MH Clawd is that he is 29cm high, has the same arm and leg length, and is very close to the foot size of SaintBloom. His foot is around 3.5cm while SaintBloom is 4cm.

Here is a shot of the shoes and how they fit him- they are loose which is perfect! I can't wait to get my girl and put her in these shoes!!

    4. OMG if these fit I will have to do a shopping spree at Facets. I was looking at their site and wondering about the size fitting, but it looks like they might be a winner!

    5. Kayke~What style is that? I went looking but I couldn't find a measurement listing. They look awesome!

    6. Gene/Tyler is the right length but the width is closer to Ellowyne. I chose a closed toe shoe so that if it is too large I can stuff them. The ones I have are called: Platform Lace-Up Shoes $15
      (JS-PLATLACESHOE-ELLO)

The guide says they fit all fashion dolls, which is what I was looking for!

    7. I just finished the makeup for my Betty, she's so cute, but she need more clothes. The dress that she has in the pictures is for Momoko (I can't close it in the back), also I tried some Lalaloopsy dresses and they fit her at her back, but maybe are a bit short (but with some leggins maybe...).

    8. Does anyone have pictures of a Charlie or Charlotte with a Yo-sized doll? Preferably a CH Ange Ai or a Momocolor girl, but any doll of that size will do too. :3 I just found out about these, and they're so lovely! But I have reservations about whether one would fit in (proportions-wise) with my existing tinies.

    9. When I get my girl I'll take a pic of her with my yo. I should have her in about two weeks!

    10. That's so cool, Thank You! So, you can use high-heeled shoes with these girls then?

She is so cute, Congrats! Momoko is like Barbie doll sized right? So, can these girls wear Barbie clothes, or? I kinda figured they would be too short and tight.

These dolls are so cute :) Any way I can see more spam of owner pics of Charlotte and Betty? I am having a hard time choosing between the two. Thanks so much!

    11. I won't be able to know for sure until my girl arrives which should be in 2 weeks. However, they fit a flat-footed doll that has similar feet so I am hopeful that they will. I will keep you all updated!

Also SaintBloom has posted a pattern on her flickr/blog for a dress and cape~

    12. Im really excited to see the new updated pattern.

I tried that last one St.bloom posted and was soo confused by it lol.

    13. Do you have the last pattern saved? I'd like to see it.

    14. I used to own a 27cm slim mini that has the same size feet as Saintbloom, I remembered post about 1/6th army action figures having the same sized feet as well. Here is a post describing them with pictures. I went ahead and ordered some boots and a pilot jacket.

So far I have bought a few things but unsure of the fit/quality but as soon as my girl comes in I'll make a large update about what I've bought and recommend.

    15. Thank you Captainkyo! It looks like a fun challenge!

    16. Shaiel>> Thanks for the pic! And wow, your girl is absolutely gorgeous!!! *u*

Aw, shucks, she's quite different, proportionately from my other dolls, which are pretty typical tinies. She might not look as out of place with my incoming Momocolor Lucy, but I still think it'd look off. Now I'm kinda sad, because these dolls look so lovely (and I'd really like to get one, haha). :P

    17. Yukari: Thanks for posting Betty! She is so sweet looking! I just can't decide among them, they are all so cute!

I am dying to sew for one these girls too!
