Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.       :dance The 7th Annual San Diego Ball-Jointed Doll Convention will be held at the picturesque Handlery Hotel on Saturday and Sunday, November 21-22, 2015 from 10 AM Saturday to 4 PM Sunday. We'll be located in the Presidio Ballroom of the Handerly at 950 Hotel Circle North, San Diego, CA 92108.

      This year's theme is 'The Roaring 20s', :dance a tribute to the glorious era between the two world wars. A time of talkies, roadsters, prohibition, art deco, the zoot suit and flapper dress! There will be doll costume contest, games, prizes, and raffles, plus a buffet dinner and afternoon tea along with many of your favorite dealers!

      Full Membership: CLOSED

      $20 Dealer's Room for the day. Includes the dealers, the panel discussions, a gift bag, and complementary parking. Pay at the door.

      Susan Lake of Susan Lake Designs

      She will be doing a panel discussion on the Steel Wire Brim, Fascinator Hat on Saturday.

      In 2013, Susan directed her talents to writing and publishing her first serialized story, GOBLINS' BEND. In 2014, Jones Publishing, of Haute Doll and Dolls Magazine, published part two of her book: The Journey to Hollowberry. Currently designing full set costumes inspired by the characters in her story for BJD dolls, she is known for her provocative and imaginary point of view creations. Susan has brought the art of elaborate costuming to the world of BJDs. As her popularity as both an author and designer has grown, she is currently conducting book readings as well as her “DESIGNING A WORLD IMAGINED” lecture series, throughout Southern California.

    11. On the day of the con at the door we will have a "Dealer's Room Only" entrance price of $20 for the day, or $30 for those people who haven't gotten a membership, but it will NOT include the Saturday Dinner Buffet NOR the Sunday Tea, and you WON'T be able to enter the doll costume contest.
      Therefore, Full Membership ticket purchase closes on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at midnight PDT.
