It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.       Bigger and Longer!

      Where: In the larger Starboard Room of San Diego's Marina Village at Mission Bay.

      When: Saturday, December 4th, 2010. 10 AM to 5 PM (two hours longer!).

      Dealers: Pixiedust Designs, PamSD's Miniature Costuming, Amelie's Attic For Dashing Dolls, Monstro Designs, Up in the Clouds, and more!

      Workshops & Games: Face-ups, speed dating for your BJD, and more!

    3. San Diego BJD Convention Etiquette​


      1. All participants must have a paid membership, regardless of age.

      2. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied, at all times, by a parent or guardian with a paid membership: please do not drop off to pick up later. The BJD convention is not a playground, and all participates are expected to behave or will be asked to leave.

      3. Treat other participants with respect. Refrain from foul language, offensive jokes, or ethnic slurs.

      4. Please do not handle another person's doll or property without permission from the owner.

      5. Please keep an eye on your dolls and other items brought with you. The convention is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft to items or person.

      6. Be aware that photos and videos of you, your doll(s), and/or your designs/creations may be taken and posted on public and private websites and boards (i.e.- Yahoo! boards, Den of Angels, or Zone of Zen), as well as information and photos printed in newsprint or magazines.

      7. The convention host reserves the right to refuse or revoke membership and ask that the person leave the premises, no refunds.

    7. The Con is located in the Starboard Room this year, which is on the south end of the Marina Village property, just past the main office on the left.

      FROM THE 5:

      1. Exit Sea World Drive. Turn RIGHT if you have exited going south, turn LEFT if you have exited going north.

      2. Continue on Sea World Drive for about 2 miles.

      3. West Mission Bay Drive will be on your right, just beyond the lanes marked with arrows to Sea World's entrance.

      4. Stay in the right-hand lane, continue around loop to right.

      5. After loop, merge all the way to the furthest left lane.

      6. At red light (Quivira Road), go left.

      7. Go left again immediately (Quivira Way).

      8. Continue about a half mile.

      9. We are on the right-hand side, past Seaforth.


      FROM 8 WEST:

      1. Take 8 West to the "Beaches" exit, past I-5.

      2. Exit West Mission Bay Drive on the right.

      3. Stay in the right-hand lane and continue over the bridge.

      4. After the bridge ends, West Mission Bay Drive continues on about 100 yards UNDER the overpass, and curves in a loop to the right. Do NOT continue straight on Ingraham.

      5. After loop, merge all the way to the furthest left lane.

      6. At red light Quivira Road, go left.

      7. Go left again immediately (Quivira Way).

      8. Continue about a half mile.

      9. We are on the right-hand side, past Seaforth.

      Note that the Seaworld sponsored "Shop with a Cop" will be occuring Saturday morning from about 9:30 to 10:00 and during this time the streets leading to the convention will be closed to allow the procession of police cars to leave Seaworld. If you find that you'll be in the area during that timeframe I suggest you take this alternate route:

      FROM THE NORTH COUNTY HEADING SOUTH ON 5:

      1. Take the Balboa/Garnet Ave exit.

      2. Turn right at Garnet Ave.

      3. Stay to the left as it merges into Grand Ave.

      4. Turn left at Mission Blvd.

      5. Turn left at Mission Bay Drive.

      6. Turn right at Quivira Road.

      7. Go left again immediately (Quivira Way).

      8. Continue about a half mile.

      9. We are on the right-hand side, past Seaforth.

      FROM 8:

      1. Take 5 North.

      2. Exit Grand/Garnet Ave.

      3. Turn left on Grand Ave.

      4. Turn left at Mission Blvd.

      5. Turn left at Mission Bay Drive.

      6. Turn right at Quivira Road.

      7. Go left again immediately (Quivira Way).

      8. Continue about a half mile.

      9. We are on the right-hand side, past Seaforth.
