Shorter MSDs?

    1. My friend has a DOC Homme-Ivan, and I'm looking for a slightly shorter MSD to be his younger brother for a story we've cooked up.

      I'm kind of obsessed with Kid Delf Bory, and now he's out in Realskin white i'm hoping it'll look ok with DOC resin...

      but if it doesn't, or if he won't be short enough, does anyone have suggestions for shorter bodies/dolls that would look ok with a DOC Ivan?

    4. The Customhouse Little Juniors are also shorties. The boys are 38cm, and the girls 35cms. No clue what the resin match might be like, though. CH resin tends to be pretty pale, even in NS.

    7. The MinoruWorld Juniors are 33cms (and therefore considered tinies) but look great as younger siblings for Bluefairy minis in comparison pics I've seen. Dunno about resin matches though.

      hmm... I saw a picture of a Customhouse Little Junior yesterday with an average height MSD and he did look to be 38cm... but that's still 2 inches shorter....

      No one seems to make an MSD right at 40-41 cm that is in a similar style to DOD.
      Orientdoll Dae types are the right height, but their build is all wrong for what I'm looking for and the head is waaaay too tiny compared to the body. :/

      ah well... I'll just keep looking at dolls i guess. oh, the horrors~! x3

    10. Leekeworld are about 40 exactly.

      The newer heads could be used as males for sure, but the body only comes as an immature female.

      No resin matches have been confirmed, but bobobie and luts both seem to be possibilities with potential minor blushing requirements.

      Though, the same friend who has the DOC Ivan has a MNF Shushu and she's almost exactly his height oo; though, I admit it might simply be her sculpt.

    13. i'm actually really fond of the Angell-Studio heads, but their MSD boy body bothers me... especially the knees and torso. :/

      I find i've an inordinate fondness for slightly shorter characters, so finding shortish MSDs interests me.
      Plus, I really really really want my first boy (who has a character all waiting for him) to be just a wee bit shorter than his brother, who is older by a few years.

      ...mostly so his brothr can noogie his head at least once >>;;;
      xD since his brother is my friend's doll, a DOC Ivan, it makes it a little more challenging to find a boy who i know i can love who will also look nice with his brother. :3

      also, i need to find them a nice tea service xD

    16. If your Ivan came with the long legged DOC body, maybe you could get another DOC with the older, short legged body? Not sure if they're still sold though, or what the height difference was, you might have to get one second hand...
