Size of Leekeworld wig for DoT?

    1. i plan to buy a DoT doll in the future :3
      There's a specific wig that i want to get him from leekeworld..the thing is on the site it says that the wig comes in a 10-11 inch for SD, and 7-8inch for MSD...

      I remember reading somewhere that DoT heads are 8-9inches? ^^
      so which size from leekeworld would best fit? :? or if they fit at all...

    3. I'd try the MSD size. My Elfdoll Soah Shiori has a 8.5 inch head, and I tried ordering a SD wig for her at first. It was huge! Then I tried the same wig in the MSD size - and it fitted snugly but nicely.

      Shiori also has a DoT wig, which fits her very well.

    4. I got a DOT Lahoo and bought LW SD wigs which are kinda too big though I still managed to make do with them. I would suggest Luts Delf wigs for DOT though, they fit better than Leekeworld.

    5. Lahoo and Camine both have heads just slightly over 8". I haven't tried it, but I've got several leeke MSD wigs that fit on our AR Nik, whose head is 8.25". It can be a pretty snug fit, but probably a better fit than the SD size.

    6. Leekeworld SD wigs are huuuuuuuuge on 8.5" heads. And MSD don't really fit. I've tried both, with me ending in selling the SD one and ruining the MSD one by cutting. .___. Is a shame, tho. I love Leeke wigs but all my favorite head molds are around 8.5"

    7. The Leeke MSD wigs seem to fit up to 8.25" and not a hair over. I just tested a couple MSD wigs on Lahoo and they did fit. (one Leeke one Luts, both previously worn and properly stretched by AR Nik) Which is good since we've been planning on getting him a Leeke MSD wig to try. I think it might be possible that not all Leeke wigs are a standard size. I know I've gotten SD size wigs from them that aren't all the same size, so it's probably true for MSD size too.

    9. That would explain it then. Is so difficult to get fiber wigs for these 8.5"-head kids. ;___; I'm glad that Volks Dollfie Dream wigs do fit them, even though they don't have much variety. .___.

    10. I have had a LeeKe MSD wig on my Soah's 8.5 head, and it worked very well. It was snug, but I had no problem at all with it.

    12. Yep, I've got my Sha in an SD Leeke wig at the moment. I've bulked up his head with a few clean rubber bands and the wig sits comfortably on top of them (The bands also help keep the headcap secure, just in case the magnets don't feel like being enough). They also help reduce the amount of wig-slipping, as they provide a good gripping surface for the wig cap.

    13. Personally I lothe too large wigs... You can get away with a slightly larger wig, but if it distinctly large it either lools very untidy and bobbly or if you choose to pad the wig to fill out the exess material you get a very unrealistic baloon-head effect. *shudders*

      But that may just be me, I suppose...

    15. I have tried a good number of searches to see if this came up but i couldn't find it so...

      I have been looking at wigs on leekworld and will be very soon perchasing a Tender shall from DoD. my question is what wig size would i order from leekeworld for her? I know she is a size 8 but wigs on leekworld are 7-8 for MSD and 10-11 for SD, i would say the SD wigs are way too big but would imagine the MSD wig could be a little tight and short (seeing as MSD are shorter dolls)? so do i get the bigger wig and use velcro?
      Can anyone help me out here?

    17. I think the SD Leekeworld wigs will be huge on her. My favorite places to find wigs for Shall:

      Elfdoll.com -- the Rainy girls (Soah, Sooah, Ryung, etc) have 8-9" heads too

      Jpopdolls.net -- they sell these gorgeous Monique Gold Collection wigs in 8-9" size that are perfect on Shall....lots of different colors and styles too

      ebay -- search around for wigs in that size range...i just found some nice mohair ones

      Dream of Doll -- duh

    18. 8-9 wigs generally fit. I agree with Jpop wigs though...so soft and nice and a lot of choice.

    20. Sorry it took me so long to respond... but I had to wait for my Leeke wig to get in. I got the MSD sized for my Shall. Honestly, it's a bit tight... and it took me a while to figure a way to get it on without it sliding off her head (rubberband... I had velcro for her default wig... but the rubberband works great too). The wig I got was # L-042M, color 900 (wine). The length is long... even for her, goes past her hips. Overall, I'm happy with it, but I would think twice about getting another wig from Leeke for her just cause it was tight.
