Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. What do you guys think about him? From some angles he looks very lovely. I was waiting for a new soom doll, but lately their sculpts were just not my type. For Quartz I wish there would be more fantasy parts. I miss some fancy hands :D
      hmm do not know yet. I have asked for blank face pics, hopefully they will send it:)

    3. One thing I noticed with this sculpt is that his eyes are wider set. I really don't care for the close set eyes that are typical of the Soom dolls. Don't get me wrong, the dolls are gorgeous.

    4. I love this idea, and I love dragons too! Too bad it's a boy doll, I don't collect them. But now it means that Soom's got a whole family of dragons - Nephelin, Taco & Dolomi and Quartz. I agree with Teja though, he should have come with some kind of sharp dragon-y looking hands.

    5. Would love to see those blank piccies if that's okay. I'm really like his face at the moment. Wonder if Soom will do just the normal body version, with the pointed ears of course. :) I think Soom did that with Tremo. Ice dragon boy appears to have bedroom eyes. Or is it just me. I like him lots.

    6. I wondering about the body type as well, i mean i'm not sure if he comes with the same type of body of Tremo, i'll going to ask directly to Soom to have some clear infos, anyway i love the parts and the costume as well, a pity that i'm totally broke atm.....

    7. In my opinion Tremo and Quartz have the same identical body.
      So at this point which of the two is branded wrongly? :sweat
      Cause if Quartz has the new super gem male body then also Tremo has.. :sweat
      If Tremo has the new mega gem body then also Quartz has..hope it makes sense!

    8. Why are his wings made out of tinsel and cubic zirconium? Is there a resin shortage in South Korea? If I'm buying a doll like Quartz that starts at $750.00 [which I'm not], excluding options and shipping, I expect wings of a better quality than those I could get off an Xmas ornament from the dollar store.:|

      He would have looked quite spectacular with blue and clear resin dragon wings. A missed opportunity to make him really special.

    11. lol, I was thinking the same thing. It looks like his wings were stolen from a tree-topper angel. I also don't care for the resin color. It looks like dirty/discolored WS to me. Throw in another $140 'toga' and the vision is complete.

    14. I've just begun looking seriously at Soom dolls about a month ago, and I have to agree with what is stated above. The face sculpt is lovely, but the $140 does seem exorbitant for that garment, which looks as if it were made of nylon, like a child's Halloween costume. IMO, It should be real silk for that price, should be more elaborate, with more pieces, and should certainly be hemmed on the bottom (or is it just my imagination that the nylon looks just cut, not hemmed?). The wings are pretty, but very cheap compared to what cast resin wings would be. And they won't hold up as well as resin. Worst, the color of this resin looks greenish to me. A snow-blue should be a really clear and icy blue with no yellowing or greening at all. Perhaps it is just my monitor, though.

    16. OMG! Ack. I don't know whether to :cheer or :...( I have been waiting for a boy in pale blue since they first started with the fantasy resin colors with Euclase and Vesuvia. He has a similar Sabikish eye and lip shape that Jet and Dover have that I loved so much, but regretfully could not justify since I don't have any NS characters that I need right now. I love how he looks serious in some pictures and smiley in others. I adore the dragon claws in ice blue. The outfit and accessories are lovely, too, though the Christmas ornament wings are a bit disappointing. I'd have been ECSTATIC for dragon wings like Nephelin's in that transparent blue, but that much perfection might have killed me. *_*

      The problem? I am going to a Chicon next week and will come back broke. I have been selling stuff like crazy just to pay for the convention. The timing couldn't be much worse. :...(:...(:...(

      Ah well! Back to selling everything I can get my hands on. There is no way this one is getting away from me!

    17. Y'know, one thing that really seems off to me is that his fantasy feet seem to have absolutely no blushing on them -- they just look like they're cast in clear blue resin with no blushing on top.

      And I agree with everyone -- he needs dragon wings to be truly special. I think I'll stick to my Loongsoul YingLong for the dragon boy of my family. ^_^

    18. His feet look exactly like my Arkose's feet. I do have to agree with the disappointment - I wished he had some kind of wings and his outfit looks rather... unimpressive. I do like his face though. :)

    20. Cute... but thankfully not for me. Not in either of those resin colors anyway... (If he shows up as a NS Special Order someday, I may be in trouble. But not as long as he's CW or "pre-greened". :lol:)
