Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. Soom Mecha Angel Vega

    1. Hi! It seems no matter how much I learn about all these dolls, I never seem to learn enough! So I have a kind of silly question. I have seen pictures of Soom Vega boy dolls, but I don't see any available on the site. I have a Vega merman, but I want a regular boy Vega. Do most people with this boy doll have to buy the female head and put it in a male body? I am so confused about this:?
      If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it. :sweat

    2. Other than the merman, Soom has never released another Vega as a boy. They meant it to be a girl sculpt.

      All of the other Vega boys you have seen are hybrids. So the owners had to either buy a full girl and full boy doll and swap heads or enter into splits with people who wanted the other parts. :)

    3. Oh thanks idrisfynn! I wasn't sure about that! Do you know of any tutorials for restringing and such? I would be afraid to get these dolls and mess it up!:sweat

    4. I know with the Super Gems (Dia, etc...) you can ask for a girl head on a boy body. I don't know if you can with the FFDs though... but you could ask on their Q&A about it...

    5. Actually you don't have to restring the doll. The head is easily transfered. Take less then a minute. Just pull up on the S ring inside the head, twist S ring and lower a bit. Head comes right off. To put it on the other you place head over S ring, pull up S ring and twist S ring into place.

    6. I looked into that, and apperantly they don't do that for FFDs, unforunately. If they did, I would have had a Vega by now xD I'm still working on getting a male Vega, but it could take a while :sweat

    8. Does Vega only come in White Skin, or can you get a Normal Skin Vega? I'm just interested in the head (and killing myself modding it to go on a Super Gem body lol) so the gender doesn't really matter. ^.^

    9. Vega comes in both white and normal skin. The upcoming January FFD period is for male MA's but February should be open for female MA ordering.

    11. It's because the last for five days was a female, in December. So the next one is going to be male. They go back and forth each month.

    12. I have an idea that someone asked Soom if they would swap Vega to a male body and they were prepared to do it for an extra fee. Soom are usually pretty helpful. It may pay to ask on the Q&A board. It was a while ago so I can't remember which doll precisely. It could have been a Super Gem, but I know Soom were prepared to allow people to swap the bodies.
