Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Tae or IL - Orientdoll.com questions

    1. Dear all! Please help if you know...

      (1) How long does it take for Orientdoll to complete your order (basic Tae no makeup) until he arrives at your home? Has anyone tried ordering 2 and would this mean they take longer to make?

      (2) Where can I buy fibre wigs and eyes that would suit his small head? For the wig what's the biggest size I can still put on him without it being too loose or look too big?

      (3) Would a Leekeworld doll size wig fit him? Leekeworld doll is like this --> DollLeeke Unfortunately they do not supply information about their head size. But I'm guessing they are smaller than most MSD? Tae's head circumference is 5.5 inch.

    2. From what I've seen from those with a Tae, his head is much smaller than your normal MSD head, so I'm not sure if a LeekeWorld wig would fit him.

    3. Helene, there is a thread on Tae in the Incoming Doll forum... Those of us who ordered Special Tae with faceup and clothes, etc., are still waiting - some ordered in March and some April 10th (I'm one of them). There are pics of him in the thread, with comparison shots with other MSDs. Right now I think Orientdoll is spazzing over bad weather to do faceups in and perhaps being overwhelmed with orders from people who went Tae-crazy. :>) But your chances of getting him more quickly are better if you get him basic with no faceup. Hope this helps! :>)

      Forgot about the wig issue. I believe he is a size 4 wig, and I know Kemper makes that size, and their website has mohair, synthetic mohair and something else I'm forgetting. As for the Leekeworld wigs, I believe the smallest is 6.5. I could be wrong, though...

    4. Doll Leeke wigs don't fit at all. They're 6.5" and swallow his entire head. Lati Yellow wigs look as they might, they're 5.5". Cancan has a few in that size, but they're mostly little kid styles. Haven't gotten mine yet, will update when I do.

      I much prefere the smaller size

      as the head is so small you could try Leeke size wigs , CanCan wigs for the SDYO

      I make fur wigs and tibbetan wool wigs too

    6. Tae takes 5.5 wig--I measured his head.

      Barbie and that ilk are too small (at 4); the 43 cm resin crowd too large--this includes the 30cm child dolls, like the YOs, CP Cutie Delfs, and CH Petite Ai, which take 6 or 6/7.

      For clothes--I own some Matt O'Neill clothing; leg length okay, but the crotch depth and waist size is noticably large. Barbie-Ken shorts could pull up, but will not fasten by probably 6+mm.

      My Tae can wear Cutie Delf shoes!

    7. I was thinking of getting a Dae Il and make Cloud with him... I think he looks lovely but I would probably have to make his clothing ... all my guys are huge and now I am craving some smaller ones... ick...

    8. Wigs for Lati yellow should fit, or any Monique/Kemper/Global wig that is 5-6". His head is really small, reminds me of a Tonner guy.

      Maybe if you want a boy style, a Monique Johnny in a 5-6 would work? There are also a couple of eBay sellers that do wigs for Sybarite, and those are in that range....Jpop has some mohair ones that look wonderful.

    9. Bump(? I need to know if Leekeworld is the only shop that sells Orientdoll? Since the OD site no longer exists and I think DDE used to sell them, but I think they no longer do.

    11. azuulada, I believe you are right that only LeeKeworld sells the OrientDoll dolls now.
      I had not realized any company still sold them.
