Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. Tan MSDs?

    1. Hey, everyone! I'm almost at my stopping point with buying dolls for a while, and I'm still looking for a doll to suit my last character...><;; I know I want her to be tanned skin, and it'd be great if I could find a tan DOC Leya, but I don't know if she's even made in tan, and DOD won't get back to me about it...><;;

      So I'm wondering, what other MSD sized dolls come in tan skinned? I know that Dollzone and Dollmore have tanned versions, but none of their molds suit her. I thought about FCS (if it even exists anymore) but it's just too expensive. So I'm really lost about what other molds could be out there!

      Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    2. Angel of Dream offers their dolls in Tan (+$25 to cost of the doll).

      Bobobie/ResinSoul offer Light Tan/Coffee as a basic option (+$12 to cost of the doll), or on special request you can get dark tan (same price).

      The other companies I personally have purchased from don't offer tan, but I'm sure other people will have suggestions. Good luck in finding the one you want. :)

    3. Dollstown has a beautiful tan skin tone. I'm not sure that any of their dolls are MSD size, though.

    4. Dollstown does make MSD size, it's called 7 year old *but* it doesn't come in tan. FCS does still exist. I haven't seen any of these in person, but here are a couple more companies; Narae 43, Limhwa, and Angel of Dream make tan version of the dolls available all the time. Occasionally, Angel Region puts out a tanned version of one of their molds, I think the marketplace has a couple on sale right now?

    5. Have you thought about getting someone to dye her for you? But you better make sure this person has done it successfully before. I heard a horror story about someone paying someone else to dye their doll and it wasn't at all even. I'm sure there would be someone able to do a good job though - but it would probably cost quite a bit.

    7. Just to answer your speculation on Volks FCS. Sunlight skin does still exist but it's usually sato exclusive so would have to be ordered through a buying service.

      On tan, how tan do you want the doll different companies tan are different shades?

      Narae french resin tan is light and so is volks other companies have darker tan.

      To give an idea the two on the left are tan and the last doll on the right is normal skin. These are Volks FCS

    10. Thanks, guys! That was really helpful. :) I don't want her to be dark tan, but a little bit darker than sunlight skin from Volks. I like the tan that I've seen on a lot of Luts dolls.

    12. Take a look at the tanned Dollmore sleepy Pado. She's a cutie and a nice medium tan color. You can also do a search of aernath's most recent photoshoots, as her tan Pado girl, Vanhi, just recently arrived.

      It's a nice, light tan.
      They have three MSD sized girls available in tan: Pado, Asha, Momo
      And one boy: Pado
      They should have the Asha and Momo eventually as boys as well. :)

    14. Angel of Dream tan...sorry the pic's so big - I haven't mastered that yet. His sweetie's hand on his neck shows you the regular white colour, by contrast.

      Your Pado is beautiful, Aernath! And actually, Pado's promo pics really reminded me of my character and I did highly consider her. But she isn't "smiley" enough for my girl. But she's still gorgeous! ><;;

      I think I'm gonna go with a Nabi Kiss. I like her skin color and face shape (not to partial about the lips, but somehow they suit her anyway), but I'd still like to hear some more suggestions on tan MSD sized dolls as I may need to make her a brother. :)

    16. I have my first BJD and now I can't help but to want another! (I think most of us know how this goes) I want a tan girl next in the small size (1/4) But I can't seem to find many of them any where. Does any one know where I can find some? Something like the black Shall that DOD use to make. Thanks to any help, Julie
