1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I wonder which is your largest and heaviest doll, you ever have? How large and heavy is he/she? And will you take him/her with you to travel around?

I collect and like large dolls because they are gorgeous and detailed but the problem which makes me worry every time before doll meet's date or traveling, is...Can I really take them successfully to our destination? :XD: I can't drive car and mostly I travel with public transportation. And...most of doll meets which I have attended, are hosted in far away cities, some have to take a train for 4 hours (included changing trains, etc) and then...WALKING to the meet point. I have once taken 2 SD size dolls with me to attend a comic convention for 4-5 hours and to walk to a doll meet later... One sat in my back bag and one laid in a big carrier... Just felt like carrying a baby and walking around a city in a day long.

So now I consider to take my largest boys (owned - 70 cm MD V.Miho hybrid and coming soon -SSDF Avalanche Rom.Ver.) to attend any meet or travel with me in the future... I really have to do more sport than usual and fit my body more! :dance

    2. The heaviest BJD's I own weigh in at about 4.5kg's, which, by the time they're clothed and packed is closer to 5kg's each. They're about 67ish cm's. They go NOWHERE. I am not carrying their heavy arses about all day. Just no! Until very recently, my DOG weighed less than them, HER I'll carry, they can stay at home.

    3. The heaviest dolls I own are three MSD's (hopefully four MSD's by the end of the year) and carrying all three of 'em around is a pain but it's a good hurt. XD; Literally. I have a special basket I carry them and my smaller dolls in.

    4. I own mostly 70 cm boys. I am going to meet up tomorrow. and I have been asked to bring the biggest of my boys, so the others can see him. He is a Loongsoul YingLong, and by the time he has his tail and wings on his is huge. I don't know that I would take him out a lot, but for special requests I am willing to do so. He is not Con portable though. Way too big for anything other than a meet up where he can be set up and just hang out.

    5. Well, the heaviest doll I ever had was an Iplehouse EID guy. I took him to a dollmeet once, and we travelled by train. This was not that bad, because he was safely packed in large trolley. However, carrying him around was not much fun, and this was also the reason why I sold him. I got the body one size smaller, and he is just perfect. Sometimes less is more... also later I got an Impldoll Idol body with currently three heads (similar volume and weight, but far better balance).

    6. I own a Dollmore Trinity (and just purchased a second). She stands 105cm tall, and weighs in at 17 lbs. I haven't tried to take her anywhere so far, but I've been considering taking her to Dollism New York with me. I'd probably need a stroller or something to carry her around in. lol

    7. Iplehouse EID. My Doll In Mind Love boy is pretty chunky and heavy, but nothing compares to my EID. He's pretty darn heavy, but yes I have taken him out and I would again. It takes a fair bit to carry that guy and his heavy clothing and wig don't help much either, but I just sort of get on with it. I don't want to lose the enjoyment of taking my dolls somewhere just because of size. Something to put him in would be great though. He might not be as big as a Dollmore Trinity for instance, but carrying him can be a burden sometimes. lol

    8. I guess the heaviest doll I have is my SD, but for some reason it doesn't really get to me as much as my MSD Souldoll N.L doll. That girl is HEAVY, especially for an MSD!
I can only imagine what the EID's are like (or Dollmore Trinitys!)

    9. I had a 90cm Angel of Dream boy - I could just about manage to carry him upstairs LOL - I think if I had taken him out anywhere, I would have needed a baby buggy for sure - which would have led to some interesting comments from strangers no doubt!

    10. My heaviest is my Iple EID dude. He weighs close to a sack of 5kg rice when fully dressed and in his carrier and he kinda earned the 'sack of rice' nickname. I had to sew on an extra shoulder strap to his company made carrier so that I can carry it like a backpack instead of a sling bag. Mostly I take him out for photoshoots and meets that are likely to be outdoors and spacious. I had even took his two smaller short SD buddies in a separate bag out with him for a project shoot.

I don't take him for crowded cons/events or places since he's too heavy to be an arm doll and I'm kinda on the short side.

    11. My heaviest doll is my 70cm Illusion Spirit. I don't know how heavy he really is, but he sure is one heavy dude! I never took him with me since he has no decent pants yet (don't want to cary him around naked!). But I can't wait to take him with me to meets. I wouldn't bring him tho if I still have to walk a long distance with him, or will have to hold him all the time or for a long time. I have a DollZone 70cm carrier for him and tried to walk with him around the house. So far, that went well ^-^ But like I said, heavy dude is heavy!!

    12. I have one 70cm boy (luts ssdf abadon). Idk how heavy he is, but when you put him and 8+ other dolls in a duffle bag.... Well it gets pretty heavy XD I've put together in one bag for a trip: 70cm abadon, 60cm hybrid arwen, 58cm dolllove Alice, doll chateau Alberta, soom adamelli (bipedal version), dolllove youyou, bf pf minimay, dollmore reaa, BBB Apollo, and I think that was it. The elevators and escalators in the bus stations were out of order that day lol. I had to switch buses twice both ways and attend a Christmas party afterwards.
I'm not very strong but I managed somehow lol (still not sure how)

    13. I don't know who is heavier, my Iple EID or my Soom Idealian. I guess it would be Soom Idealian coz he is 2 cm taller but sometimes I feel my Iple guy is heavier. Anyways, I haven't really taken them anyplace except back home coz I have a back problem and I aint going to carry them around, that's for sure. I did get a Soom doll carrier so next time, I might take them someplace in that.

    14. I would have to do a weight check, but my Mecha Angels should be the heaviest since they're by far my largest (80cm). They don't feel that heavy to me though, and I do have a carrier bag that will fit one of them. I wouldn't have a problem taking them out for the day provided that I have enough carriers for all dolls being taken. I don't take out loose dolls, period.

    15. My heaviest are my Ringdoll Grown boy and my LoongSoul 73 cm boy. I've brought the LS boy to a convention before. I'm pretty strong, so it wasn't too bad. I was also lugging around all the stuff for my artist alley table, so he was just part of it. :sweat For most of the con he stayed at my table on his bench, but I brought him and another doll to a meet one day.

    16. My tallest is my Dollmore Ripley Days, but he's not my biggest. My biggest and heaviest is an Iplehouse EID Kamau, and I don't generally take him anywhere. Not only is he big and heavy, he can't stand or sit, so he's not the most convenient doll to drag around. TBH weight isn't a problem for me, I can load a bag up with several SD sized dolls and carry it just fine, but the rest of my dolls can sit somewhere without me worrying about them falling over and taking out more dolls. He's gone to a few doll meets and that's it.

My smaller SD sized dolls are my favorites though so I generally don't bring any of my 70cm dolls anywhere....they're very neglected.

    17. My 70 cm hybrid is definitively the biggest and heaviest, but I havn't taken him out jet. Until a few days ago he was borowing clothes, and very unhappy about is. Perhaps I will take him with me for some doll meet, depending entirely on transportation and location.
Probably he won't see a con in his life, as visitor at least. Con dolls are msd or smaller, and up until noe, I only ever took one. Perhaps that changes this year.....

    18. I've got EIDs. I will take them to meetups where I can plop them down in one place and not have to carry them around!!!!

I've tried carrying one around ONCE. That's it for me!

So I voted: "Yes I do, but not often."

I don't like carrying dolls around no matter what the size, though. I prefer to have them standing/sitting somewhere.

    19. My heaviest doll is a 70 cm hybrid. I have taken him out a few times, but only in a carrier.

    20. My heaviest is a Soom Phonolus; once I get a carrying bag and clothes for him, sure! I would love to take him outside.
