Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I'm just curious because I've been having a couple of moments like this myself lately, what things that seemingly have no relation to dolls remind you of dolls? For me, the thing that's been reminding me a lot of BJDs is this music video: http://youtu.be/fbkixXucdIw I don't know exactly why, but whenever I watch this music video I can't help but think, "There's no way that's actually a person. That has to be a doll." I mean, I know they're supposed to be like robots which is kind of doll like, but still, I can't explain it! So, has anyone just had moments kind of like this? Where something not intended to remind you of BJDs does? and then you can't unsee it? Just interested about other's thoughts ;x;b

    2. I agree about that video - thanks for sharing BTW. There are certain Chinese martial arts films - w/the wire fighting - Green Snake for instance - that makes me think of Soom & Loong Soul girls.

    5. Whenever I go shopping every single thing reminds me of dolls.. It's actually really annoying XD I see a little object and I'm like "That would be such a cute doll prop" or I see clothing and associate it looking good with certain dolls -facepalm-

    8. @neonknightmare haha thanks! they are really cute ;v; LED Apple is one of my favorite bands <3 It's nice because in kpop, you get more groups than you get bands, so it's nice to see some bands in the mix there :) this video really caught me though because i couldn't shake the thought that they reminded me of BJDs haha ^^;

    14. Abbreviations remind me of BJDs a lot, there a lot of abbreviations around me in everyday life and lots of them also exist in the BJD world. Or I look at humans and think their skin tone would be amazing for a certain doll :sweat

    15. The one random thing that CONSTANTLY reminds of BJDs is Rapunzel from "Tangled". Everytime I see her, I just think how much I want a BJD that looks EXACTLY like her! I'm still waiting for that day to happen. :D

    17. Well, I don't know if this counts, but whenever I go shopping, small miniatures and other random stuffs usually reminds me of lots of dolls including mine, while they actually have no relation at all with dolls XD
      Like samurai sword keychains. "This will be good for photo props, it suits this doll because the face is like a samurai"
      Like a Japanese printed bowl. "This will be good for Volks Bontenmaru photo props too since it reminds me of Issunboshi"
      Even a cute cushioned container to keep rings "This will be good for YOSD chairs"
      ...
      ...
      it will be endless XD

    18. Baby clothes!
      Not because of the size, but because they so often have cute tiny prints of them. I don't think "Aaw! Tiny baby dress!" I think, "ooh, that's perfect fabric for a dolly dress! Wonder if I could rip that apart and use the fabric...?"

    20. Ooh! Yes! For some reason, anytime I see someone with lots of piercings, I think of bjds. Also, lots of clothing styles that are not common in most places, like gothic lolita, immediately make me think dolls.
