1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

To buy or not to buy…….

Apr 26, 2014

    1. In a bit of a dilemma here guys. I have had my first Luts doll Amy (Tiny Delf Dorothy) for just over 4 months now. I have been able to put a bit more money aside since then but now I am not sure if I should buy my little Miss Amy a companion or if she should remain an only child/doll. On one hand I would like a second doll, on the other hand it would mean less money to spend on Amy. It would mean that anything I get for Amy furniture, accessory, clothes wise I would need to buy twice….. just not sure….I know they could technically share clothes but even though they are friends they have very different personalties and I want to respect that….What do you guys think? Should I spend my saving on a second doll or on more clothes and stuff for Amy to spoil and pamper her….

    2. Tricky question. I'm still waiting on my first doll but when I get her, I think I'll want to concentrate on her for a while. I know what my next doll will be but think that will not be purchased for some time just so I don't have to many things going on.

On the other hand, there is nothing stopping you buying the 2nd doll and just take it in turns with clothes etc purchased for each doll. I'm sure they won't mind ;)

    3. http://dec712241.gdreamweb.com/shop...c_code=C20101202054301&m_code=M20120920031415 that would be the doll I would go for… was quite surprised when looking at wigs that the one I wanted was already worn by the model and skin colour I wanted her in. Her name will be Ophelia and she is Amy's best friend and cousin from England and a true british rose, a lot more timid and docile then her diva-esk (not sure if that is a word…) queen bee cousin from New York...

    4. It can be tough to decide on whether or not to buy a new doll. However, this is more suited to a personal blog where you can discuss more individual specific reasons for buying or not. If you do decide to buy another doll please feel free to share her in the galleries and discussion threads.
