    2. Does anyone know what comes in the kits for the boys? I know the girls have a make bit of fur to make a wig... or has that changed? Sorry for all the questions... I could probably find the answers if the Search function was working. I've been on the look out for these boys but I never saw what they guy kit looked like. I know I`ll probably have to wait till Christmas time for my boy... but I'm already looking forward to customizing him... I already have a name for him.... But I want him to be a cat boy

    3. the girls came with a fur wig, all their resin parts (including the eye mech and mouth part - mouth part Lusis only). They also came with wire to string, instructions, and eyes. YOu could also purchase a large bust part as well to add to it.

      The boys will likely be similar with eyes, wig and wire, plus the eye mech L-bi mouth part for those who order him and their happy and regular peen parts.

      Any other hands ears, glasses etc would come from the parts order.

    4. The boys should be about the same price as the default bust girls were in Summer 2007. But the US dollar has been tanking a bit. I think at the time of the July girls order the US dollar was worth about 115 Yen and today it is worth about 105 Yen due to the sub-prime lending problems. That means the US dollar prices will probably be higher than this summer's prices (maybe 9-10 percent higher if the dollar does not improve vs the yen).

    6. Oh shit, what terrible timing!! XD I want both of the boys, and I want to go to Dollectable and NYC Dolpa. I'm gonna be so broke!! :doh Hmmmm... maybe one can be an early christmas/b-day present, hehehe :sweat

      I helped a friend put together a unoa kit, and I fell in love with her. It was so fun putting her together, blushing her, doing her faceup... I have to get the boys, they're damn awesome.

      I want the dozing faces for both of them too, the dozing faces are so damn cute!!

      I have two questions, maybe you guys know: when you order the boys, they come with their two penis parts, right? And also, does L-bi have the same hands as the girls?? They look similar.

      Re the boy's hands - from what I have seen, the boy's default hands are similar to the girl's but a bit more strong/manly. I've seen people say the option hands are unisex.

    8. There is only about a 10% difference between the male and female hands mostly being the fingernails, and the male hands are a bit more sharp. The option hands hands are for the most part unisex, The nigiri hands look more masculine and the pointing hands more feminine imo.

      Male on the left Female on the Right, I think the original hand was sanded and then had a bit added to it to create the male hand. Other than the nails and general sharpness its the same hand.



      The Japanese page for that last option part lottery is here it shows pictures of the option parts that were available then the only thing missing is the unoa 2.0 items and the high heel feet that were available in the preorder . What is sold this preorder may not be the same.

    9. Unoa's Large breast part circumference is actually about the same as many mini dolls, 18cm.

      Unoa's real measurements (not the FAQ ones):

      height 42 (I need to double-check that with a stiff yardstick)
      head 17
      neck top 6.6 (most neck measurements are in a random place though)
      small bust 16.5
      large bust 18 (above bust 16, below bust 14)
      waist 12.7
      hips 19
      foot 5.3 (straight down middle from length of longest toe to as far back as any of the heel goes, the same way people are measured for shoes).

      It's really a pretty average bust size for a mature mini (they usually run 17cm-19cm) and also about the same as the chest circumference of many immature minis. Unoa just wears it better! I think her breasts are lovely - large but natural looking (not cones or torpedos)

      my l-bi is also a girl. (and this dress is obviously my favorite...)

      its partially because a lack of the type of mens clothes I like on the market (hence trying to learn to sew myself to fix my own wants as far as doll clothes), but then again all the unoa sculpts look feminine to me.

    11. I never really understood how the eye mech works. Do the actual eyes have holes through them, that the rods go through? Or are they stemmed eyes that the rods shift? One of the first things that made me like Unoa's were the moving eyes. But someone said that the eye mech doesn't work very well. :o

    12. the rods go through holes in the eyes. they don't work so well because its a very simple machinism and the eyes don't line up perfectly. also there is a gap between the eyes and the faceplate to allow the movement to happen so the eyes are not as snug as some prefer. I don't use the eye mech because it limits versatility as far as eye positions go. Also I wouldn't want to have to drill holes in every pair of eyes i own for it to work!

    13. Could someone explain to me about the high-heeled feet, please? I'd love some for my Sist, but how hard would it be to find shoes that fit? Also, on the mule part, this is basically a sole to construct shoes on, yes?

    15. sistercuervo: The Unoa 1.5 girls have two types of feet options. One is the high-heeled feet option where it's a resin cast of feet with simple high heels on. For that, you can paint in whatever colour you want the high heels to be.

      For the other type, it's the mule part. They are just the soles of high heels. These are perfect for making sandals or other shoes by hand. This allows your dolls to wear stockings and socks to slip their feet into these hand-made shoes. For the highheeled feet option, the girls can only have bare legs to show. Lol.
