Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. Volks SD16 Foot size VS. Dollshe Boys Foot size

    1. Does anybody know if SD16s and Dollshe boys can share the same size footwear?

    2. Well, a Dollshe boy would have no problem fitting a shoe worn by an SD16, but the reverse... not so easy.

      The length of the SD16 foot really isn't the issue, it's the width of the front of the foot and the thickness of the foot at the arch. Any of the large boots from iplehouse are easily worn by SD16 boys. Certainly anything that allows the foot to be inserted from the back and zipped up helps. I've heard of one Yukinojo owner getting his doll's feet into a tight pair of Dollheart boots with a little sweat and tears, I'd imagine getting them back off was even more difficult.

      I've considered getting some Dollheart boots for Lex and putting a thin piece of ribbon under his arch when I put them on him so I can use the ends later on to pull his foot out again. I took a pair Poshdolls boots off of Lex the other day and I had to turn the back end of the shoe inside-out and pry his foot out with a soft spatula.*_*

    3. Yep, the SD16 has huge and wide feet. I have also had very good luck with the Iplehouse boots - especially the soft sueded ones.

      I, however, have had zero luck getting the newer Hound body feet into anything made by DollHeart. I know others have said this works - not here. Although the Bermann feet will fit the DH shoes and boots, but to me it looks proportionately ridiculous. ;)

    5. Do you mean official SD16 shoes sold by Volks?

      I've only got the SD16 shoes that came with the Yukinojo Fullset, and you could probably fit both of Hound's feet into them.:lol: They're huuuuuuuge! HUGE.

      Volks isn't always consistant in their shoe sizing, so I'm not sure if the two or three other pairs of SD16 shoes they've released are all that big.

    8. my friend's yukinojo foot is like 1mm shorter than hound's, but his shoes are huge D:

    9. I traced Fuu's and a friend's Hound TOGETHER with the base of the default shoes before, no doubt the Hound's feet is bigger by one cm or half of it. The default SD16 shoes is obviously larger than the SD16 himself, so certainately the Hound can wear them?

      I'm not sure about the other shoes though. The Gymwear's shoes are a skintight fit on the SD16, and his Gakuran has still a bit of room on the front of his toes......

    14. It's hard to give an absolute "yes" or "no" to that question. Some shoes that fit a Dollshe boy will fit an SD16 boy but its hit and miss. The problem isn't usually the lenght but the width at the ball of the foot and the thickness of the instep. I have some Poshdolls patent leather boots that I can fit on Lex's foot, but that's all he owns so far.

      edited to say:

      Yukinojo can also fit the White Cat and Black Cat boots.

    15. My 70 cm DollZone boy can wear shoes that are 9.5 mm by 3.5 mm.

      I have the Poshdolls side zip boots and also a pair of black high top sneakers that fit him.

      Henry's feet are 8.8 cm by 3.5 cm, by the way, or 3 1/4" by 1 5/8" wide.

      Not Hound per se, but a 70 cm boy, so I hope that helps.
