It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. Volks has experimentally begun a Twitter account. If they can acquire 3000 followers before Aug25th (Japan time) they will continue to use the account for news and updates. As an incentive, there's a prize! :) Here's the complete post from the Volks site:

    4. They did post a few times in English, and they said that the prize is open to international customers. We'll see if they bother to translate their posts. One of their latest posts is encouraging people to post photos and ask questions, so I asked if they'd be re-tweeting in English.

      No idea yet, but I asked if they had more info on that too. :) I guess they need to see that people are interested before they have a staff member spend all of that time tweeting. I do like all of the photos they've been posting so far of the Harajuku shop and the teasers from Volks News 50!

    5. I logged into my used once a year and half ago just to follow Volks! (also if you are using Google Chrome you can set it to translate all their posts so being in Japanese is no problem!)

    6. It looks like it's a free prize according to this page. They'll be notifying the winner with a direct message as to where they should send the Komame bucket to.

      But the contest is only running if they manage to get to 3000 followers. They're at 2779 now with 4 more days to go.

    7. Well, that means they've gained 500 followers since it was posted on DoA, they could probably manage 300 more in four days. :) Never thought I'd sign up for twitter, but since a few other doll companies also post a lot of updates there I figured I might as well. :/

    9. I hope people will still post company news 2ndhand on DOA for those of us who have jumped the twittership. I found the clutter to essential news ratio far too high on many Twitter feeds. But I guess this looks like more bang for the effort to companies than just updating a website.

    10. I started to follow them on twitter a few days ago. Didn't know that it was posted here to DoA. They showed up on the suggestion area. Will have to go look at the pictures they have up.

    20. I believe they're running the contest up until the 8/25. One of the tweets seemed to indicate that at least so it means that since they already reached 3,000, the contest is definitely happening.
