What are you Doll Plans for 2014?

Let's see

1. Buy a doll couch/ other furniture
2. Acquire more props for better photos
3. Get some nice photography backgrounds
4. Get at least one extra outfit for each doll
5: Get a Dremel
6: Get an airbrush

Ongoing projects

1. Faceups for a few of my WIP dolls.
2. Finish building hybrids dolls (still waiting for heads/parts)
3. Decide if that floating Miracle Doll head is going to be Nightcrawler or not.

 

My plan is to find a good guy for my sweet girl ^_^

plan "A" : learn how to mold a doll, and make a 49cm guy for my girl (hope this is possible)

plan "B" : save for and buy Soul Vito Cior



and other minor plan...

1.learn to made an outfit for my doll
2.collect more and more props for my dollies

 

Ok so I will give this another try, I achieved all my goals in 2013 except one

1. Get a bigger light box that my MSDs will fit in so I can take better pics of them
2. Get new a better photo backgrounds
3. Find a better way to display all my dolls
4. Get more outfits for my dolls
5. Get more props for my dolls
6. Try to paint my own face-ups
7. Try to sew my own dolly clothes
8. Buy bodies for the floating heads I want to keep, sell the floating heads I don't want to keep

 

My plans are

- get a MNF Shushu
- build a diorama
- get a camera and learn to take better photos
- tatoo my girl

 

*sigh*

I don't even know anymore. My plans seemed so set for 2013, but I went so far away from them. I guess tattoos is up there on my list. Getting back into photographing my dolls, I really miss doing that but I don't seem to have the time anymore. (Even though my photos arent that great XD ) I'd really like to learn how to sew for my dolls, but honestly I have enough problems sewing for myself that I don't think this will happen any time soon.

Other than that, I'd really like to start focusing on the dolls I already have rather than getting new ones. We'll see how well that goes >.>;

 

1.finish paying off my Charlotte
2. Save for a sd10 body for my dwc2 head
3. Buy them both their default outfits
4. Finish sculpting and casting my own doll

An I think that's about it no more dolls thoguh just kiting out those already home and working on my own , fingers crossed I stick to it haha

 

Dolls:
I know I wrote that I was done with doll purchasing. Now I know what I really want, so... still some more to get.
1. I hope to welcome home Rex still this year. As he will be my Avengers Thor, he will be on the Superhero body.
2. I really hope that Iplehouse will do a real head event, because I need a SID Storm to portray Hawkeye. He will share a body with Tony. If not...well, then we shall see.
I think that's it then.
Clothing-wise:
1. Decision whether I want to try to make Tony Stark's suit myself, or commission a professional to do it.
2. Make the Black Widow suit.
3. Make Loki's outfit.
4. Make Haweye's outfit.
Shoes & Accessories:
Well, just what everybody needs.
Regarding Hawkeye's bow: I found a working recurve bow miniature at my archery dealer. I will take my SID Lee (Tony) to see whether it is in scale. It can't get more real than that.

 

1: BODIES - My highest priority purchases for 2014 are bodies for my Dollclans Vezeto (plan: Spiritdoll Proud boy), Migi Janus Miho (plan: Spiritdoll Proud girl), and SQLab Hime (plan: Obitsu 50) floating heads

2: Get blank dollies painted - I've got a bunch of blank dolls waiting with my best friend and faceup artist. We've worked out a price list so I just need to start paying her.

3: Fix my craft room so I have a workspace. It's full of boxes from moving, and my crafting supplies are completely unorganized. I need a real workspace and photo area so I can do the next few things on the list...

4: Assemble Steve. I have a Bishonen House Steve kit. I need to put him together. I was going to make a thread in the Project Journals section for him.

5: Get better at photography/set up an area of my house where I can experiment with lighting

6: Start sewing for dolls again, so I can get better and not only get all my dolls in clothes appropriate for their characters, but maybe even improve my skills enough to sell a few things for extra hobby money.

7: Bring home a couple dolls on my wishlist. At least one of planned EID boys - either Adelais (plan: Tedros) because his current unfinished/not-in-scale-with-his-brother-Cassius shell makes me sad whenever I look at the doll shelf, or Daichi (plan: Bichun). Probably Yuki too (plan: Loongsoul Ken) because he's one of the primary protagonists of the story and he really should be shelled.

8: Mod/paint Cassius's right arm. In the story, it's eventually cut off and he replaces it with a metal one.

9: Keep an eye out for a cheap yet appropriate sculpt for the insane mod project I can't stop thinking about doing.

And finally...
10: Stop falling in love with random dolls that aren't in the story so I can get story-related dolls home faster!

 

1) Get every single one of my dolls set up how I want them in my new house.

2) When I do something dolly related, I will put it back where it was, so nothing becomes messy or disorganized

3) When a new dollie comes home, I will clean up the mess right away, and store their box away.

4) Find a DD-Anne Lotus Near (Ongoing :c )

5) Get better at faceups, and matching body blushing colors to white skin

6) Make sure all of my dolls have at least 1 wig, 1 pair of eyes, 1 outfit, and 1 pair of shoes.

7) Restring someone. I must do that eventually ._.

8) Get my butt to Dollism Plus!!

9) I'd like to get more doll props, but I find myself liking to buy those the least...

10) Shell my psychopathic serial killer character into her doll form, and the FBI agent that goes with her. (Not sure if this will happen in 2014)


What an awesome thread idea, it's nice to write everything out, and I really enjoy reading all of your guys's doll plans!

 

Mine are pretty much the sane as last year, I'll health means I am behind on my crafting!

1) finish/commission at least one outfit for each doll
2) snag some face-up spots for my new dolls
3) complete a stand/display for each of my Leeke girls
4) cast some custom eyes
5) hand make some wigs!
6) finish the robot mods on Ophelia

ETA: opps! also 7) improve my Leeke girls posing (restring, suede, wire etc)

 

1. Buy Mirodoll Wind to mod...
2. Buy Leekeworld new mini
3. Make wig for my MSD
4. Start on sculpting BJD

 

I tend to not make doll plans as they have a habit of going awry.

Roughly:

1. Finish props/accessories for my two cosplay dolls since I know that won't be done by the end of the year.
2. Acquire appropriate wigs and eyes for any doll who is still in pieces. Then paint and assemble. The box pile will be greatly reduced!
3. Doll clothes: need them. Turn existing pile of fabric into clothes for everyone who isn't dressed.
4. Find and acquire most of the other big dolls on my wishlist. Once complete, the bulk of dolly cash can be focused on my grail doll. I will bring him home in the next two years.
5. Practice sculpting and otherwise begin work on making a bjd.
6. Try not to buy every cute fantasy tiny I come across. They multiply faster than two coat hangers left alone in a closet.

 

My plans are (I hope that I get all, but I don't know XD)

1. Get SDgr Belldandy

2. Get a sofa for my SD (I love sofa from Volks, but they're very expensive)

3. Get another guardrobe for my SD10 Charlotte and SDgr Belldandy (I don't have so much dress for this bodies)

4. Sewing some clothes for my doll... Clothes and bags!!!

 

1. Save to purchase a few of my girls. (Next up DOC tender Zen and SID Eva)
2. Make default outfits for my boys
3. Take Zen cosplaying with me
4. Maybe buy Souldoll Chiron????
5. Locate camera...
6. Take them out for a photo shoot
7. Create a general wardrobe.

That sounds reasonable for the year I suppose. I would add more if I wants so busy all the time, but that's what brings in the money so I can buy these dolls in the first place ^^;

4. Get a new camera
