What are your doll plans for 2015?

- I really need to pick out some new outfits for my girls... I have a lot more choices for the guys over here than I do for the gals.

- I need to pick out some new shoes for the guys... While they've gotten the lion's share of the clothes the last few years, the gals have it all over them when it comes to shoes.

- Face-ups for a couple of the crew who could use new ones.

- Find a new home for my Soom fairy... He's a cute little dude, but his scale doesn't really work with the rest of the gang and he's well-nigh-impossible to dress. <_<

- Get a DC A-04 (Winged or non-winged... I don't know yet) bod for my Orijean head. DONE! Ah, the Christmas gift of green... XD

Other than that? I don't really have set plans. I may end up with a few new dolls, or I may not. I'm pretty happy with the state of my collection in general, but if something interesting comes along, I've learned never to say never.

 

1. Sort through all the doll stuff and actually DO something about the things I don't play with!

2. I'll have a pale Heartstrung Ruse arriving early in the new year, and I want to put in more time finding/making clothes for her and her tan sister.

3. Make up my mind about a faceup for my Dollshe Aramis. He's just so cute blank . . .

4. Resist falling in love with still more oldschool BJDs on Y!J. Resist, resist, resist.

 

I have a few plans for next year.

1. Finish off my layaway for my Blue Blood Nile. Only two more payments.
2. Find a Soom Cheshire Head for my boy. This one will probably take me a long time.
3. Buy and make more clothes for my boys. I have three big guys and not enough clothes.
4. Acquire more shoes and socks. One of my dolls has some shoes but I refuse to allow him to wear them without socks.
5. Buy a female doll. I only have males so no frilly skirts for them.
6. Buy bodies for my floating heads.

I'll probably add more to the list later when I think of more. I'm surprised at how many dolls I got this year, since this was my first year actually owning dolls in this hobby. I ended up getting three SD dolls, one off topic doll, an MSD body and two SD floating heads with my fourth SD coming in February.

 

- Commission a faceup when my blank Pukifee Dony gets here.
- Buy an outfit for my incoming Dandy Tristan.
- Buy a MSD sized doll, but not until after I finish my current layaways. Layaways done!
- Attend my first doll meet. Should be going to one in January, so excited! I wasn't able to make the January one, hopefully I'll make it to one in the future. ^^;
- Decide on names for the new dolls once they're here.
- Finish Pukifee Dony's outfit.

 

Pretty much the same list every year XD

• Find clothes for the dolls I have a hard time finding clothes for (Isis, Java, Metatron and Ryuji are the tops of my list!)
• Reorganize the doll area. My wigs can no longer fit in that tub...
• Try not to buy a zillion dolls. Maybe just bodies for some of the heads that need them (Little Wyn!! He's #1 on the list) also, stick to actual wishlist and try not to get any just cause they cutes.
• Learn how to make Angora wigs myself so I can make the 5 or so I need.
• Start my giant hybrid/mod project. Seriously.
• Maybe a photo story or two
• Better photos. Somewhere not at work.
• Finish Boo
• Finish Little Boo
• Redo Baby Alex's faceup and blushing and redo sleeping Baby Alex's faceup and do his blushing.
• Finish all my Kara Klums. All of them!!!! All of them. *dies*
• Sell stuff when I decide I don't need it anymore.
• Organize my damn flickr and delete all the crap (maybe DA too)
• Don't buy a body for #8. He does not need one. He doesn't. Omg I'm totally going to do it. NO!!!! I won't! *determined* (I totally will)
• Edit: I have another one: Eyes! I need to figure out who needs new eyes and where I can get them. When all my dolls suddenly had teeny eyes I have no idea...but it's a pain.

One more: My Migidoll Ryu has three heads and only one had a faceup, until yesterday when it started flaking off =_=
So now I need to get a faceup on at least one of his heads!

If I actually manage any of that I'll be happy.

 

- Craft a new armor for Amaranthiel
- Make new wings for Staarah
- Buy the wig and eyes for Hiyume
- Buy the eyes for Kaïyan and make him horns
- Buy a body for my floating head that is coming home soon
- Repaint (entire body with airbrush), re-faceup and do a sueding on Mini-Link (lot of work on this guy)

Would have buy everything yet but dentist fees happened XD

 

- Receive my first BJD
- Decide on a name for my first BJD
- hopefully complete a successful first faceup!
- Meet some BJD friends

 

~ Complete my incoming FM60 Tan Elf Celine. I'm thinking of sending her head out for a face-up.

~ No new dolls until at least mid-year. If I can hold out longer, that would be great. So far, I have no real plans for new dolls anyway. (but oh how that can change so quickly >.<)

~ Update/re-do my Mirwen's face-up this summer.

~ Learn to sew and make some basic outfit pieces

~ Make an alpaca wig for my MNF Chloe. (then think about possibly making a Feeple sized one)

*Creating custom doll clothes for a trade FINISHED!
*Modifying, blushing, painting and restringing Tripp when she arrives. (My first resin, due to arrive in a couple weeks!)
*Add comfy padding and a cover for Tripp's fancy cage.
*Painting the girl I will trade for and making her a wig, helmet and buster gun attachment!
*Working on designs and stock building for doll clothes so I can start selling them in my Etsy shop.
*Start saving for X's sister Zero!
*Make my sweet little reploid girls stasis pods to sleep in.

If I get Zero during the year:
*sculpt all her add ons and Z-saber from apoxy. Paint her up and make her wig. She will be a lot of sculpting and modding but I'm very excited.

1. Organise my characters and what they are meant to look like
2. Start designing their outfits
3. Get some new eyes.

1. Try and make an Alpaca wig

Edit:
1. Make clothes for my demon, some awesome demon attire, his faceup came out really well.
2. Work on new DC body done, except for mani-pedi and his head (whoever that will be) 5Stardoll Dark, the wizards wins. He will need special clothes. He now has one outfit.
3. Make a better wig/headcap for OfKa Lukas
4. Make more socks/stockings
5. Finish off Rae’s armor.
6. Kilian’s tattoo. Done, needs some tweaking.
7. Ash and Evz story/photo stories
8. Write demon daddy’s story.
9. Remake Reed’s abdomen armor. May become a project...
10. Make Kilian’s Crimson robe (not happy with one I made looks like a bathrobe), leggings and boots.
11. Set up the patio diorama. Picnic table, log benches,, working on it already but nothing to show.
12. Set up the studio apartment.
13.Build a 70cm bed (started- why did I start there? as I look at the Incubus sleeping above me), 60cm bed, a couple of chairs, longer sofa, end tables for the apartment.
14. Make more props, props, props!
New edit and it isn't even 2015 yet:
15. Buying an RDJ head and Possibly probably a body *hangs head in shame at my gullibility for a RDJ head*, and faceup to be Sherlock. Have plenty of 1890's-ish clothes.
16. My Doll Family head came in that I ordered in August of last year (forgot about him). Interesting Elf eared vampire. Immediately started by modding his pointy nose and pointy chin, off to a roaring start. Perhaps he will tell me who he is before I do a faceup on him.

Hopeful things
1. Get a WS Ringdoll? body for Kilian, let Remi have his body back.Getting a Miro 64.5cm body for Remi and the new vampire elf.
2. Make a ‘Frankie’ outfit from Rocky Horror picture show. (Already made the male size corset and found some fishnet stockings - what is left?)

Hard to do list
1. Don’t buy any more dolls (except for Kilian’s body). Failed that before the year was out.
2. Possibly sell floating heads.
3. Reorganize the closet and shelves.
4. Possibly sell extra props.
5. Sell the stuff the guys don’t use.

-Finally get around to sending in Aberdeen's heads in for custom faceups.
-Get custom storage for my dolls and boxes so they are under control and not trying to take over my apartment

 

Faceups and body blushing on all the dolls I have now, make outfits for all of them, make or buy wigs for them, and take lots of photos. If I manage to finish all that I might think about saving for a new doll. I really want a MNF Chloe...

 

Oh gosh, I'm always weary of making up year doll plans because LOL I NEVER STICK TO THEM.
Buuuut I guess I'll humor everyone...

- Buy a Dolltown elf body (in pale tan huhuhu) for my Bleu Citron head.
- Also get a MNF (preferably M-line, but that may not happen unless Fairyland finally adds on the A-line bust sizes to the M-line's order pages...so probably A-line if I can find a decent body with the bust size I want on the marketplace) for my Shushu head.
- A body for my Unoa Akubi faceplate (if I can ever get a hold of another headback fffff). I'm not sure what body I want to get her yet...I was a bit tempted by those new mini bodies Luts came out with this year. The uhhh...model delfs or something?? HMMM!
- Zaoll Muse if I can pull it. xD I imagine not since all these new full dolls will need clothes and shoes and wigs and jfkdsalfasd somuchstuff
- Maybe try and get more into taking photos of my dolls too..hrm..

Other than that, mostly just buying more clothes and whatnot for my current crew. Can never have too much doll things. AHAHAAHAHA

My plans for 2015:
- Faceup for Nova, the new guy who's been sitting here blank since Dollism.
- Faceup, blushing, etc. for Alexander, the Soom Grit I'm hoping will arrive in January or thereabouts.
- Faceup the floating heads, and sell at least one or two of them.
- Freshen up any faceups that need them. Jester especially.
- Blush and/or manicure all the hands!
- Go through the doll stuff and sell off the stuff I'll never use. This may include voting a doll out of the house.
- Work on writing their stories, and hopefully actually finish at least one of them.
- Finish painting Sapphy's wings, and get her magnets in so she can wear them.
- Take more photos!!!
- Go to lots of meets, and hang out with doll friends more.
- Continue to try and get everyone looking the way they should.
- Take a big group photo! I'm thinking this may have to be outdoors, and I'll need to recruit a helper or two.

 

Plans for 2015

-work on restoring a pair of hands for a Delf Yder
-continue with my Model F mods
-sew a couple of dresses for a 'visiting' bjd
-finish a photostory that is giving me a horribly hard time

Possible

-New faceups for a couple of my boys
-Obtain or build a doll stand
-Try to post more on my blog and DoA >.<

Not Likely

-Order Ringdoll Boyce because he is beautiful
-Get an actual carrier (I've been promising myself this for four years)
-Build a couch for my dolls to lounge on

 

At the moment, none lol but we'll see what happens.
