Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Just curious :) if there's a post similar to this, I can post the link or delete this one.

      So! The question is: What is the most you've spent for your doll in one day? (or maybe one week?)

      I'm currently thinking of buying 2 dolls at once because I want the doll that I want to have a boy friend or a girl friend, but I also really want to get this face plate o_o
      I might end up spending more than a $1000 if I decide to get all, which I guess I've saved up long enough for, but can that be justified? T-T
      I feel so guilty!

    11. For me $449.60... and that was my first ever dolly purchase that I just made last month. I havent really bought anything else doll related since then cuz well that was all the money I saved up for the past 6 months. I already know I'm going to be spending twice that down the road as I have a huge list of Iple House dolls on my wishlist O.o....

    14. I've bought almost all my dolls on layaway, so I've "only" spent $500-600, but that's a lot of money for me right now. :sweat
      If I saved, instead of using layaway, I could easily spent +$1000, as I tend to like middle to expensive dolls.

    16. I believe the total cost for my Erzulie was around $340, and I didn't order anything with her. If I had the funds, I would happily pay well over that amount for a doll I really wanted. Hopefully I will land a good-paying job after college so that I can invest lavish amounts of money in Iplehouse. ;)

    20. Buying actual dolls--I try to put them on layaway (along with all the extra items), so the amount doesn't seem so painful!

      But you're going to be spending a LOT if you are buying dolls outright, no matter what you do. That's just the way it goes. These things are just expensive as hell. There's no getting around it. But if you want to spend your money on them, that's all up to you. I certainly find it worth it (sorta. Most of the time I think I'm just insane and addicted!). *_*

      Hmmm... so biggest amount at one time...?

      2005 I was at one of the Volks Mansion Tea Parties in Los Angeles and I won the lottery for a One-Off. Gave me a total heart-attack because of course I had to pay all at once for doll that was a surprise! The total with tax (not low in Los Angeles) was $1078.00

      I've paid much more for a doll (and outfits and wigs and faceups all to be shipped at once), but usually I do that on layaway!!!!
