1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

When buyer is reselling a doll without telling the truth.

    1. I deleted it because I don't want to be against DOA rules.
      Thank you for your replies.

    2. I'm sorry to say but I think your angry over a lost cause since she's not yours anymore.

    3. I feel annoyed just reading that :/

    4. Well..I can understand your frustration.

but the untruths luckily are not that bad, he is not hiding yellowing and is not selling a fake as a real.

    5. That does seem really frustrating but all you can do is shake your head and move on ;C

    6. Also isn't it against DOA rules to discuss non Doa transactions?

    7. He's not saying anything that will trouble the next owner. It's only really white lies that make him sound nicer by pretending he added the clothes to the sale (which in all honesty, the next owner will be paying for anyway) I don't really see the problem... She's not yours anymore and I can see that it could be irritating, but nothing worth fussing over in my opinion.

    8. Thank you for your replies. yeah.... you alright she is not mine anymore and there's no reason to getting mad... I just want to complain it. By the way I didn't know that it is against Doa rules.

    9. Kinda off topic, but reading things like this about dolls makes me so very sad :(

    10. Yeah it is...I really don't wanna ever sell mine in case I feel that type of regret. I'm sorry if I sounded cold.

    11. I kind of hope this gets locked, it just seems like stirring up unnecessary drama which is against the rules. As others have said, this isn't your problem. She's not your doll and it's really none of your business.

    12. Why? They're personal possessions. If you sell something it's no longer yours. If you don't want to see a doll you once sold, sold again then you shouldn't have sold it in the first place. Just my feelings on the matter.

Although replying, I feel the same as Harleqin-Elle... It's just that I've had a seller jump down my throat in the past because I had to sell a doll about a month after buying from her because of money problems out of the blue.

    13. Which they shouldn't care. If they wanted to sell their doll then that's their own issue.

    14. Just to clarify, I wasn't talking about the situation presented in this topic. I was just thinking about somebody telling me that my girls aren't mine anymore, and that always makes me sad :( I'm strongly in the never sell mindset, so it won't happen, but just thinking about it is distressing to me.

    15. Well, that's fine for you if that's how you feel, but you can't dismiss the possibility that one day you may HAVE to sell your dolls. I'd hate to sell any of my current crew, but if there was some emergency and someone I loved was in trouble, they'd have to go. Dolls are luxury items and if you have to sell them all just to, say, have a place to live, then unfortunately that's life. And if I did sell my beloved, carefully crafted dolls, I'd have no right whatsoever to tell the future buyer what to do with them or whether or not to sell them again, because they'd no longer be my dolls. The point I'm trying to make is that once money has been exchanged, or the promise of money being exchanged, they're no more yours than a bird that has just flown out of your garden.
