1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where do you keep your BJDs' boxes?

Feb 10, 2011

    1. er... I don't have good suggestions either (if you have a crowded room). Anyway, I put my BJDs' boxes in the middle of my big bookcase as shown in the photo below. Maybe you can first put the small box into big one, suppose that you have different sizes of BJDs.

    2. Oh my gosh, I have to figure out where to put my box! My room's so small I'd probably have to put it by the canvas I have hung up on my wall ; n ;

    3. I bought three dolls while I was living in Japan, but when I left I had to seamail my stuff home and the doll boxes were simply too large to transport so I had to throw them out. I didn't really like throwing them away, but in the end the important bit is the doll itself and I got mine home safely.

    4. Im a very messy person, so right now there just thrown in my closet on the floor. Of course my dolls are treated with great care, but Im not highly concerned with the boxes. When I get around to cleaning ill probably throw them on the top shelf

    5. I keep my dolls boxes in my closet on the shelfs. But for some people closet space is precious. I had them under my bed for a while, but for some reason I thought that they might get damaged under there so I moved them to the closet shelf.

    6. Stacked in the corner of my room. Ones prepped for shipping of a doll to be sold, the other is just used as storage for spare bubblewrap and facemasks.

    7. I have a huge pile of doll boxes on the top shelf in my closet. I've got boxes in other boxes to save space, but I'm still running out of room. xD

    8. I have a pretty large closet that would otherwise be unused if not for my boxes and stuff. Heh. As for ideas of where other people can put their boxes... If you have a well insulated attic (hot/cold safe) or basement you could throw them in there. That said, I know most people with those type of additional rooms rarely use them so it may or may not be a good idea depending on the individual. *thinks* Also, if you have the right kind of box, it might be feasible to flatten it and re-open it when needed. I dunno. Those are my two cents.

    9. I leave them in my room and i have a suit case where I keep it in. or you can open it and put some doll parts and stuffs. or put . :)some soft and light stuff insde so the box does not break ot something

    10. Right now that's actually where I keep the dolls, in their box. I don't have a place to keep them out regularly and I have a lot of dust so I don't want to keep them out all the time anyway (until I can buy an air purifier). I actually keep them in their box on a little table I have in my room. It's like a coffee table. Everyone knows what they are so I'm not worried about how it looks. I take them out from time to time to keep me company. :) I feel bad that they live in their box a lot of the time. >.>

Someday I hope to get a nice doll couch that I can put on my desk next to my computer.

    11. lol i store my boxes under the guest bed in the study xD <3 and my littlefee box is currently being used as a seat by my msds and littlefee on my shelf ^-^

    12. I store mine in a huge box on the attic or use the ones that match my room as decorative boxes.

    13. Ya know, I just bought a second had doll and was so dissappointed that he didn't come in his original box. Is it just me, or is the whole box opening thing part of the experience? Anyway, as for your question, some of those boxes are kind of pretty, and most people have space on their walls close to the ceiling, so my thought is to use double stick velcro on the wall, and the back of the boxes, then just stick em up. You could even arrange them on the wall if you have several boxes and tell people it's a 3d art installation.

    14. For now they are in a stack at the end of my bed! They are as tall as my bed to boot.>-<' When I move they will respectfully be placed at the top of a closet, either mine or the cosplay one.

    15. I use my doll's box as his bed :D
It just seems like the most obvious option to me...

    16. I only have one doll box at the moment (and one doll. #2 is on her way). I keep all my faceup/blushing/stringing junk in the box nested in between the two pillows. The box usually stays on the top shelf of my closet, or in storage.
      *nod*

    17. My dolls' boxes fit perfectly under my bed :D I can easily slide them out and back under.

    18. generally they just sit in my room on the floor. i have room between the end of my bed and the wall so i stack them there. but when my study moves into one of the upstairs spare rooms they'll all be going in there.

    19. I throw them out. I have enough clutter without cherishing cardboard.

    20. I threw them away+.+
Honestly my house is very small and I dont have enough space to keep the boxes....
