1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

where the heck can i buy these?!

May 19, 2009

    1. i want to buy a cute tiny fairy doll. D:

where do i go about doing this?

    2. Try Elfdoll. I don't know if they have wings or not but they certainly look like fairies.

    3. Dolkot's Fairy Peya would fit the bill. The concept for her was what a fairy would look like if you could see it. ^^

Charles Creature Cabinet also has some rather fae looking tinies, and I second the Elfdoll suggestion.

    4. Tinybear's tiny Moona and Bracken fit too.

Or you have Fairyland Puki puki

    5. PUKIFEES!!!!!! They is so precious LOL.... Or Sooms Mini Gem's are gorgeously elf-like: Soom, Mini Gems

    6. Sorry Stupid double post... Please Delete

    7. uh, these sites are a bit too expensive D:

    8. Everyone's been giving some great suggestions, but you really ought to be more specific. Do you want a doll with elf ears? Optional wings? Adult, child, or infant body type?

Also, if you think that the prices too high, you may want to re-evaluate the hobby; all of the links provided are very reasonable, and if you think that $125-300 or so is too much, then I'm afraid that you may not be right for doll collecting. After all, the dolls tend to come without faces, wigs, or clothes, and sometimes even without eyes. Please make sure you do lots of research before jumping in.

    9. The tiny Bobobies are $80 as are the Resinsoul ones.

    10. What would be in your price range then?
This is a rather expensive hobby, and as Suuchan said, it may not be right for you if you're not willing to shell out sometimes hundreds of dollars for a doll.

    11. I was thinking of Bobobies too. Have a look and see if you like them.

I will however advice you to really be sure what you want. In my opinion it will be better to save and wait and then get a doll you really love than imidiatly get one you only like because it's cheap. That said some people really love Bobobie dolls. I have two MSDs (Sprite with adult bodies) and I love them just as much as my 500$ + Narae.

I really like the Elfkins from Bobobie but they are close to being too small for me. If they were like 20cm tall I'd probably have a couple of them.

    12. well actually its my mother who thinks the price is high.

These dolls really are so cute i would pay that much but i dont have a job because i am still in middle school. So my mom buys stuff for me.

    13. Any way you can help your mom out for money? When my dog was a puppy I got money to babysit him :)

    14. Rather than focusing on the price tag... find the doll that sings to you :) When you see it you'll know its the one for you... Anything worth having is worth waiting for :)

There is this really great thread in the forums thats been here since 2005 I think titled "still dont have a doll..?" and its funny to read the people that first posted in the thread now have signatures a mile long with their list of resin family members - and a lot of them were still in school or between jobs or at College etc... so chin - up! You'll find the right one for you and there is SOOOO many to chose from!!

    15. Lets not scare the poor thing off before she even makes a decision ;) I've yet to meet anyone in this hobby who didnt go "OMG WTF its HOW much????" when they first were aquainted with the world of BJD's lol

    16. I'll second the felixdoll Brownies. They have an outragious sale right now, and they are super designed. double jointed elbows and knees, very cute, and there is one in the sales list for $58 ! They normally go for $250! And I think they were worth every penny when I bought mine! They are so well constructed, can do so much, that you won't find a better functioning bjd (puki's are similar, but not necessarily better, slightly different)

Check out http://www.ajumapamausa.com/FELIX/BrownieEvent2009.html and see the cute little buggers!

    17. Not to mention they have more possible hand sets than Puki
