1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where to find doll-scale xmas trees? (1/3 scale, 2.5ft tree?)

Nov 4, 2025 at 12:34 AM

    1. I've wanted to have a doll-scale xmas tree for ages, but I can never seem to find any in-stock trees that are the right size! They're always either way too short, or just normal sized, nothing in between.

If we assume the average human-sized xmas tree is 7ft, and I'm looking for a roughly 1/3 scale tree for 60cm dolls, that would end up being about 2.3 ft tall.

There's lots of way shorter trees than that, but so far I've only found exactly one 3 foot tree, which might be a bit tall (and it only comes pre-snow-flocked). Something like 2.5 would be ideal, but even 2 feet would be fine.

I've tried amazon, but for some reason every single listing is ALWAYS sold out??

I should mention I'm not looking for real wood trees, just artificial!

Is this just a totally uncommon size that nobody makes or something?

    2. Try Walmart and Target tiny trees are a thing and I've gotten a few smaller doll sized X-mas trees over the years from both those places.

    3. I have definitely seen small artificial trees of all sorts of smaller sizes at Target. A lot of people get them for their offices and whatnot. If Target isn’t in your country, you can still look at the website to get the maker and model number, then see if anywhere more local has it.

Also see if searching by inch height helps at all. 2.3 feet is an obscure height, but you might find something more easily by looking for 28” or 30” tree.

    4. Michael's has some other small trees in store, but if you want a "real" looking tree, probably not. Most of the small ones I've seen have been pink, silver, or white (or some other color)...

I checked Wayfair real quick for you, it does look like 2' and 3' are more common, but they may have something for you! Trees at 1:1 often vary in size, also, so you could have some wiggle room there. Bed Bath and Beyond or Kohls might be worth checking, too (I'm assuming from Michael's if you're in North America, apologies if not!).

    5. If you're in the U.S., Hobby Lobby has trees in every possible size you could want. Here is a green 24" tree (also has 18" and 36" options in case your dolls want some variety). They do also have tiny ornaments if you want to decorate it.

    6. I'm in Canada so Target and Hobby Lobby aren't available here as far as I'm aware. Does Hobby Lobby ship to Canada at all? That 2ft tree looks nice and I don't mind a somewhat shorter tree, it seems like it would be similar to a full-size 4 or 5 ft tree in scale which is what I usually have for myself anyway.

I've never really seen anything bigger than a very small desk tree when at places like Walmart but I could definitely look again this year. Guess I'll have to bring a measuring tape with me this time.

I don't know if we have Kohls here but I'll definitely check Wayfair and Bed Bath and Beyond! Didn't even think to check those places honestly.
