1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Woodolls Discussion Thread feat. Espoir

Feb 24, 2013

    1. Hi everyone,

      Starting a discussion thread for Woodolls' and her new doll Espoir, her preorder is on JpopDolls. She is 52cm tall... She is availble to order blank, with freckled faceup, or with a normal faceup (no freckles).

      A bit about the artist;

      Please Welcome Espoir by French artist Ludivine of Woodolls. Ludivine is a self taught artist who began customizing porcelain dolls. Ludivine discovered BJD's and they became her passion. After many months of work, her first doll Elpis "Misere" premiered at LDoll Festival in France in 2012. We now bring you Espoir, the culmination of much passion and love.

      And Ludivine, her creator told me she made some change, the ears move, she added long nails, and change some details on the hips joints.
      Then it is like a new doll, and mine needs a sister!

    3. 04-27-2013, 12:38 AM: I am so interested to see the body of this doll IRL, and have already forgotten when she is due to arrive!

      07-16-2013, 07:57 PM: Well, my girl is home! She's going to have to wait for the weekend to get a faceup, but wow she is lovely!

      07-22-2013, 12:16 AM: Please meet my lovely Elodie, she looks a bit angry, probably at me for taking her picture nude, and bald...

    7. I wished so very much to get one of the Espoirs, and how lucky was I to get this gorgeous girl at home! Her name is Pari (after character Khaled Hosseini´s book, by the author it means "fairy" in persian language) and she is just beyond all beautyness in my eyes. I can´t stop admiring her.

      She was a raffle prize at LDoll festival, but despite my hard wishes, crossing fingers and toes I didn´t win. But later the winner sold her and I bought her then. :) So I really feel like winner, after all.

      I wish to get also her "little sister" Pandora, but so far I have no chance for another doll. Maybe later...

    8. I forgot I never shared Elodie here dressed!
      But here she is now, with lovely eyes from Linny
