Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum. Would you buy another one if your doll was damage?

    1. What i saying is there was a time my bf sometimes see me playing with my dolls long story short he sometimes throw an item for example bar soap, then a lil gummy jelly ball at me. While I'm restringing them or playing i get worried is happen 2 time last month and i have fear of my doll get hurt and not only that he would feel like i accused him for doing and he would smash it just cause he throw stuff at me when he sees me playing with them. So I'm wondering should i get another one if it was damaged or i should not though. he say he would buy me another one.

    2. Er. This may not be the answer you are looking for but if you are in a relationship with someone, and you are afraid they will smash your stuff, you probably should not be in a relationship with them.

      Answer to the more general question: If my doll was ever damaged, I would do everything in my power to fix the BJD, which would include sending it off to have someone fix it professionally for a fee. I imagine it would still be cheaper than getting a brand new doll. I wouldn't like to replace a broken doll that I have already bonded with.

It sounds like you're looking for personal advice, and you're in an abusive relationship. Break it off. Whatever he says ("I'm just joking," "I'll buy you a new one"), no one should be with someone who treats them so callously, or who does anything to make them uncomfortable, or who throws things at them and makes them fear for their own safety or the integrity of their belongings.
