- Purchased the head from Kiyakotari who had purchased the entire doll directly from Fairyland. Purchased the complete Kalix directly from Dream of Doll on 9/18/2008.
- Reason for choice:
- My friend was selling this head and he was the perfect more mature version of the Gomi Doll Sleepy Igon I owned already.
- Best Points:
- The Fairyland head plate system is secure even though the magnet is missing.
The Dream of Doll resin is amazingly color stable and the body stands like a rock.
The Dream of Idol hand sculpt is really lovely, the double jointed elbows function well without being sharp or ugly, and I like the body's silhouette.
- Worst Points:
- The Fairyland white resin yellows very quickly.
The Dream of Idol body has a pointless torso joint with no mobility, unlike the Dream of Teen body which I replaced with this one. Wrist mobility could be better too.
Please check the announcement in the DOA News section. Broken links to TinyPic were noticed over the weekend, and today we confirmed they've been shutting down over the last month. Since a lot of people appear to have pictures there, be aware that Monday, 9/16/19 appears to be the last day to download your photos.Dismiss Notice
