Reason for choice:

I hadn't been tempted to buy any YoSD-size child dolls before, but I simply found Carrot's face very appealing. She reminds me of the illustrations of Grace Drayton who designed the original Campbell Kids and also the Dolly Dingle paper dolls. One of my earliest memories is of a Campbell Kid doll made from printed fabric that was sewn together and stuffed. Her name, which was printed across her chest, was "Merry" and my mother had to explain that it wasn't "Mary", but "Merry", which was kind of hard for me to grasp since I couldn't yet read.

Best Points:

Her adorable face and the special eye mechanism that allows me to change her eye position by just moving a switch.

Worst Points:

None, really, but I do wish the eye mechanism would work with a wider variety of eye sizes.

Name story:

My name isn't Abigail but when I was very little my mother used to called me that sometimes, "My little Abigail", so I've always had a fondness for it.
