Provenance:

A doll store in KS had asked Maryfairy5 to carry a couple of their Dollinian BJDs in her festival booth. I bought her from Mary after the festival ended as my first BJD. Mary gave her her first faceup.

Reason for choice:

She was easily available from a good friend, who was selling a new doll at a price I could afford as Dollinian was not a high end company.

Best Points:

Strong independent face sculpt, lovely smile, nice body shape.

Worst Points:

That strong determined chin, simple basic joints, hand sculpt isn't the prettiest.

Acacia Rose was a name I've been saving up since it came to mind many years ago. After she'd been with me a couple of years, she took on the character of Amelia Peabody from the mystery series by Elizabeth Peters.
