Aiden is an independent confectioner and pastry chef and mainly makes cakes for weddings and birthdays. He is an introvert but not really shy, he just does not talk much and rather listens to people then telling them things.
[TRIGGER WARNING: child abuse!] His past isn't really what one would call a nice one. In his childhood when he was very young, he got abused by his uncle. His uncle had taken nude pictures of him when he was just 8 years old and sold them online. He had also touched the boy for those pictures but gladly he did not do much more to him. It still was something horrible for the little boy, of course.
Aiden never talked to anyone about that, but he still carries it within himself and it will always be in his mind. It kinda made him the way he now is; a friendly and helpful person but sadly also a person who can not say no, even if he may be uncomfortable. Of course he has no more contact with his uncle today and he also hopes that he will never have to see him again. [TRIGGER end]
Another terrible thing that had happened to him, happened right in the night one day after he moved away from his parents home at age 20, the house burnt down and his parents died in the fire. The police still works on the case and tries to find out what happened and why there suddenly was a fire and no smoke detector in the house worked. At the very beginning of the case the police even tried to accuse Aiden of murder but luckily he was able to give them an alibi; he was working at a wedding party for a friend.
While he is not an emotional person, Aiden still thinks a lot about what had happened back then and if he could have avoided the death of his parents if he only would have stayed one or two more days. He is a night owl, hence why he would have noticed something in that night.
Aiden doesn't talk about it openly, but he has two little secrets; one is that he is still a virgin and the second is that he is gay. However with his friends he always talks about girls and never tells them the truth because he fears they may drop him (even tho his friends are very open about LGBT+)
His hobbies are of course baking but he also enjoys cooking. He just likes it a lot to work with food and to see other peoples happy faces when they try his creations. He is also an artist who sculpts and paints and he dreams of one day being able to sell his art as well as continueing to be a confectioner as these are the two things that make him happy. He does not have any favorite food as he always says he "values all the food in the world" but he really likes the taste of apple and cinnamon together.
