Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     I am Aino's first owner. She was purchased during her original sales period.
    Reason for choice:
    I found the Raffine really beautiful and unique. I was in two minds whether to buy her or not as I had no characters I wished to shell that she would fit, but I was still wanting to get a girl who would be different so she fit the bill nicely. When Iplehouse added the option to purchase Raffine in Ebony skin and have a gold tattoo, it was then that I knew I wanted her to be my first Ebony doll.
    Best Points:
    The Raffine sculpt is nicely mature and natural looking.

    I love how unique Aino is. Not only is she the only Ebony doll in my crew, but after speaking with Iplehouse I found she is also the only Ebony Raffine to be ordered during her sale period which I love <3

    Her skin is such a beautiful colour and she poses quite well too.
    Worst Points:
    My only issue with Aino is that she is a little top heavy due to her larger size up top. She will topple on occasion because of this and I must be really careful when posing for pictures without propping her against anything.

    I was also very disappointed when Aino first arrived with a black tattoo rather than the gold one she was ordered with, but I have since gotten used to it.

    I chose Aino as it means "The Only One" in Finnish. I thought that this is very appropriate for her as she is indeed very unique. She also goes by Spirit as a nickname/stage name :)

    At first I didn't really have a character in mind for Aino. She was simply an all rounder I could put in any photoshoot I wanted. I have now however decided that she will have a story of her own and I already have her partner on order to keep her company :)

    Here's a taster of her story :aheartbea ...

    Aino is a glamour model, but sticks to her natural beauty in so far as she does not see the need for extensive make up to appeal to her captive audience. Her natural look earned her the stage name of Spirit as she simply floats in and out of shoots with a cool and calm air. Aino prefers to do her make up and hair herself and has become well known for simple styles and allure.

    She happily signed up to be the face of a new brand and had been working on set in the jungle location for little under a month when the team changed location to a remote tribal village. There she met the leader of the village, a large intimidating man, who showered her with gifts of local flowers on daily basis. He never said a single word to her the entire time she remained in the village, yet she found herself falling in love and was regretful to leave her gentle giant at the end of the excursion.

    Settling into a routine once more after returning home, Aino was quickly distracted by work. It was just before the final release of the product line, that everyone came together for a look at the photos that would showcase the opening. Here for the first time the president of the brand that had chosen Aino as their model made his entrance. From the bright lights coming through the doorway, Aino can make out a recognisable large silhouette, not in leather and furs as she remembered him but a sharp suit which oddly looked very good. He reached out his hand for hers with a gentle silent smile.
