I loved everything about him, including his fullset and the fact that he's based on an historical character.

It was love at first sight with this sculpt. He was my first Volks doll and after seeing the quality firsthand, I decided that I wanted to collect that brand exclusively. Since I didn't really have to wait or search long for him, I don't know if he would be considered a grail doll, but I suppose if I had one, he'd be it. Still remains my favorite male sculpt, ever.
