Reason for choice:

I wanted to put together a female doll that resembled a character from my books.

I chose a male Akagi head because my character though female, is not as delicately feminine in appearance as most female sculpts tend to be. I wanted her to be more natural and somewhat plain, and yet still beautiful, and I think this head reflects that.

For her body I wanted wider hips and less bust, similar to the character I had created in my books. The feet appear a little small to me, but she stands beautifully. I also love the delicate shape of her hands.

She's my largest doll and I love her. I am waiting on a cloak that a friend of mine is making for her (it should be in soon!) to complete her outfit and will be giving her a new face up. Once she's all done up, I'll be sure to post photos

Alexandria Marie Docherty is a young witch who works as an assistant to her uncle in a paranormal detective agency. When she is not out helping to solve mysteries, she is an art student, fairy and animal activist, as well as a volunteer at the Spiritual Center where she teaches spellcraft.

Alexandria is kind and compassionate person, but also passionate--she can be quite fiery about the right subjects and is often overworked from her plethora of interests. She is a dog owner and is gifted with animals and plants, and has an untapped inner strength and power that is slowly beginning to be realized.

I initially wanted a fairly bland face-up to match her character, but I've recntly decided to give her a make over. She was one of my first face-ups. Her dress was made by a friend and I made her accessories. I am looking forward to finishing up her outfit, working on her new face-up, and finally styling her hair
