I placed my order the 24th of April, and he arrived the 2nd of August, both in 2017.

Provenance:

I bought him through Alice's Collections.

Reason for choice:

His worried expression made me fall in love immediatly, and being one of the cheaper dolls on my wishlist made him a perfect choice for a first doll!

Best Points:

He has a very cute face with a lovely nose and lips. The default faceup is gorgeous, especially the bottom eyelashes, and his resin is really smooth with no seamlines.

Worst Points:

I have some trouble switching his joints from single to double joint mode, but that could be my own inexperience rather than how he's made.

Alois likes comfy clothing that don't show too much skin, preferably in black and white. He likes stars, so often his clothes and accessories will have that motif. Alois however also wears plenty of other styles for his modeling jobs.

Name story:

I really liked Black Butler a few years back, and although I didn't like the character the name Alois stuck with me. The name came up when I found the sculpt, and quickly became my favorite option.

Alois is a young teen who works as a model for a part time job. He was scouted only recently, and is trying his best to gain confidence in himself through this job.

Alois has worked together with Sage on several occasions. The two are from the same agency. Alois looks up to Sage and sees him as a role model for confidence and modeling in general. He would prefer to not admit it, but parts of Alois' style in posing and fashion are inspired by Sage.
