Reason for choice:

I loved her kitty paws, feet and tail. The price was nice, too! I loved that she came with a face-up, wigs, eyes, and clothing.

Best Points:

The fact that you can change her from a kitty-like creature to an elf in minutes is really nice! Very cute doll, too.

Worst Points:

I would prefer if her stare wasn't so vacant looking. I also wish that her body blushing on her cat feet looked more realistic and furry.

Alva was originally used for display and promotion. I bought her from a seller online in Hong Kong. The seller had marked her as "used" but failed send her tail or to show that the doll was heavily scratched on the paint and in the resin. When I received the doll I was horrified at the poor thing's condition. After a battle with the seller, I received much clothes, wigs, eyes, and a new tail as compensation. Alva, now in a loving home, sits on the top shelf of my curio cabinet in the room I made for her. I take her out often and she sometimes visits her friends (my friend's dolls). I plan on taking her to BJD meets and conventions at some point.

Alva is a shy young teenage girl. She loves all things cute and frilly. Food she enjoys are all things sweet as well as sushi. She has the magic ability to change her limbs and grow the tail of a cat at will (and sometimes not). Her ears remain pointed, however. She looks much younger than she really is (fifteen) and this frustrated her quite a bit.​
