Reason for choice:

This head looks /exactly/ the way Andras always has in my brain. I had to have him!!

Andras has been 3 other sculpts before this one.
His first incarnation was as a Volks F16 on a Dollstown15 body. At the time, he was the tallest of my dolls, and it suited him. He had a very serious and intense look. However I ended up selling my collection and essentially scrapped the characters.
Years later, I saw DollClans Kien and somehow he reminded me of Andras! I decided to give the old set of characters another try, Andras being the first. Kien was beautiful, and his facial structure was really great for how I imagined Andras in my mind. But his smile was never in-character, and the body I liked best with the head was only 64cm... as I continued collecting the other characters, he was no longer the tallest. I decided to let him go.
His next shell was a Soom Idealian Hyperon. He was the right height, and had a pretty and serious face. He wasn't perfect, but good enough to make me happy... for a while.
And finally, Mori9 released the Austaras sculpt. It looks quite similar to Kien, but larger and without the smile. Austaras looks exactly how I always imagined Andras in my mind, like, exactly. Unfortunately I didn't win an opportunity to buy the head directly, but I managed to get one secondhand and now he is one of my most favorite dolls!

I'm not sure what I would call Andras' style. He is oblivious to fashion, and would wear a variety of styles, though he wouldn't choose anything cute. Furfur chooses most of his clothes.

It comes from the Ars Goetia, a 17th century grimoire!

Andras is one of the oldest demons, and certainly one of the most feared. Since inheriting his name, he has done almost nothing but kill and maim, despite the fact that his powers only involve victory, not death and murder. After a confrontation with his rival Marchosias (whose power is actually related to death), Andras' powers failed him. The shame and humiliation made him go temporarily berserk and he murdered almost all of the witnesses, then went into isolation with only Furfur for company.

Furfur is Andras' lover and friend.
Valefor is a demon child that Andras and Furfur look out for.
Murmur is something of a peer, though their past together has been forgotten.
Astaroth was one of Andras' victims.
Gremory is the one who advised Andras to disappear.
