She was free during an event. I was torn between her and Teno but her cute bow and arrow and the fact I liked her horns better swung it for her. Besides, I wanted a girl and although I was sure they could have sent me a girl Teno, I didn't want to complicate things. They sent me Gela on a boy body anyway XD

Name story:

She was so hard to name. She resisted every name I offered her. Lirian came from Lyria, possibly with a bit of influence from Lyra. And then I changed it again to Ariadne. She's a tricksy little minx.

Ariadne is a hostage-ward and was destined to marry the younger prince, Tristan, when they both came of age until Nimue replaced her as a more desirable candidate. She didn't want to marry him anyway. Her people are warriors and she hates that her tutors insist on trying to teach her worthless skills like sewing and conversation rather than training her to fight. She considers herself a prisoner so she takes every opportunity she gets to rebel against her captors, which usually only results in her terrorising the staff of the castle who call her Trixie because they dare not speak a word against the young Princess.
