Reason for choice:

I loved the less egglike, slightly narrower face of the Mir/ka sculpt and thought it'd make a nice base to build Arkady's face.

Best Points:

Mobility, muscularity, and that tan.

Worst Points:

I did have to paint his head to cover his mods so any re-faceup-ing will involve way more work than a typical doll's would.

(Story: Eddion) Arkady is one of four main characters in a fantasy story I have set in a world called Eddion. It's meant to be set in a late Iron Age period, not Medieval.
The others are Chioma, Moira and Nevae.

He has two necklaces he seems to wear all the time. I think at least one of them was a gift from a lover.

He's wearing clothing typical to men of his country, Kiria: the crossed front shirt, the sturdy vest, the gathered pants with the fitted lower legs, and the boots with slightly pointed toes. His clothes have obviously all seen better days.

Arkady is an itinerant laborer, moving from settlement town to town, doing basic jobs. He's covered in scars and seems to be always in need of more sleep. Often smiling, he's cheerful and optimistic, going out of his way to avoid conflicts or to dispel them and make peace. His clothes and face show him to be from Kiria, so Rangen is his first language, but he also speaks Esquiorran well enough. He doesn't talk much about why he wanders, or where he got all those scars. On his left shoulder, however, are the Cadre Mark tattoos of a Kiriani Dog Soldier- men who are some of the most feared professional soldiers on the Continent.
