I bought Asa secondhand from a wonderful doll collector.

Reason for choice:

Asa is just a gorgeous sculpt. She has been my grail doll for ages. I truly love her facial features.

Asa's sculpt is both beautiful and versatile. There is something detailed and refined about her features that makes an impression, but there is also a soft quality to her face that makes it look natural.

Asami Akiyama is a writer, a novelist, and the heiress to the Akiyama Financial Group. Because her parents are very traditional -always asking when she will marry and have children- Asami has moved to the United States where she can be as far away as possible from their severe judgement.

Ms. Akiyama is definitely a recluse and prefers spending time at home with her partner Alexiel Halliwell.
