Asami Sato, the daughter of the traitorous Hiroshi Sato, inherited the family business of Future Industries after her father chose to side with a tyrant. After a rocky period financially, she eventually got the business booming after taking a hit from her father's reputation.

Outside her responsibilities to her company, Asami is close friends wit Avatar Korra and the rest of her Krew. You could even say that she and the Avatar have developed a particularly special bond with one another over the years. Asami was the shoulder the Young Avatar leaned on for training and advice, and they were able to communicate with one another in a way that neither was able to with their other companions. After several struggles and situations that threatened the stability of the world and their very livelihoods, the two discovered that romance was beginning to blossom between the two of them, and they chose to pursue it and see where it would lead them.

Asami continues to bring innovative technology to their world through her company, while being there to support her girlfriend whenever Avatar Korra is in need of it.

Asami Sato is intelligent, resourceful and beautiful. The daughter of an Industrialist, she takes over her father's business, Future Industries, after he is incarcerated for traitorous activities. Asami inherited her father's inventive prowess, proving to be just as creative with what she created through her company, and the technological contributions she makes.

Asami tends to be a classy, business savvy dresser. Her signature makeup is a ruby red lipstick and a touch of pink eyeshadow. Her general color scheme usually contains variants of maroon, reddish brown, gray, and black.

In general, Asami is more soft-spoken, but can certainly make her presence known and speak her mind when she has to. She cares deeply for those she's close to, and hurts deeply when she's betrayed. Asami is a staunch believer in doing what's right, even standing against her father when she discovers his involvement in morally repugnant activities. She loyally stands behind those she trusts, and is a trusted friend (and romantic interest) for Korra and the rest of the Krew.
