Bought directly from Elfdoll. I have a care card from Elfdoll, along with his original box. I also have box opening photos. He was my first - of COURSE I have box opening photos.

Reason for choice:

I fell in love with him at first sight. He's what made me want to get a BJD.

Best Points:

The head sculpt. I adore it. It's still my favourite of all my dolls.

Worst Points:

ARGH that terrible Elfdoll boy body with its single joints and tiny girl feet that make finding shoes difficult....

He doesn't really understand fashion. If there's going to be a fashion faux-pas, Asher is going to be the culprit. He wears what he finds comfortable. He seems to like plaid.

For a long time, he wore a necklace with three significant charms on it. Otherwise, nothing specific.

Name story:

I chose not to name him until he arrived, as he was my first and I had no idea what character he was going to develop in my mind. When he arrived, I just looked through a baby name book until I found the name Asher. Long ago I had a really elaborate Xenogears fan fiction I was going to write, where the name 'Asher' was going to be significant, but I never did write that thing. When I saw it again in the book, it just seemed like a good pick. It was the closest to writing that fanfic I was ever going to get.
