Balthazar is a half-demon. He was never partuculary powerfull, but very clever, cunning and even insidious. Bal was able to become second in comand to a poweful ancient demon, one of the seven Old Ones. After Bal's master was imprisoned by the Night clan, he took in the entity of another Old One, Vael, to get him back. Or maybe, he has different plans for his newly acquired powers...
