    Reason for choice:
    I needed a big, muscly guy for Batman so of course I went with Iplehouse. Full choice so I could have the strongman arms and mobility thighs. Bane was chosen because he had a great profile and zero smile, so I thought he'd be a great Batman. When the mask didn't work out, he was just Bruce Wayne for a while, and I searched for a second Iplehouse EID head - I looked forever, and got to the point where I no longer cared which mold or what resin color (he was getting modded anyway so the color didn't matter) and was lucky to get Luo. I'd have kept him as Bruce and modded Bane, but since he was WS I figured it was easier to do it this way.

    In a perfect world I'd sell the Bane head and get another Luo so he'd match himself, but that's probably not a possibility, so Bane it is!
    Best Points:
    He makes a great Batman. Also, he's really sturdy. I mean really. I had him standing -posed- for over 24 hrs, with only a small stand to hold him up. My 16 lbs cat attacked him twice, and he never fell. And once, a whole line of my 1/3 dolls dominoed into him, and he held them up...with no stand. Just himself. Because he's Batman.
    Worst Points:
    Well he's Iplehouse, so his joints are his worst points. He is essentially a single-jointed doll. But Batman doesn't need to be a pretzel. Batman just needs to hit hard. So he's all good.
    The cowl is his face (because Bruce Wayne is the mask). I did the mods over period of months, starting by cutting off the ears then sculpting "ears" back on so it looked like there were just ears under the mask. I used various pics and action figures as references. Luo's mouth and eyes remained unchanged. I pulled off the doll's head plate and filled in the hole, and stuck the plate on the inside of his head so he's still got it. The bat ears are on the head back, which is totally removable (I just like to photoshop it out) so he can still be attached to the body and have eyes and stuff.

    Then I painted the "mask" part black and the face part NS and gave him a faceup. Under the paint he's kind of a splotchy mess, but with paint, he looks great!

    He doesn't have a wig, his batman head is modded and the Bruce Wayne head has glued-on hair.

    So my roommate made his body suit, I drafted his cape (YES I DID!) but she made it. I got the bat symbol on his chest to work and made his tool belt. His hands are iple fist hands painted black and his boots are from Iplehouse.

    Bruce Wayne's one outfit is also from Iplehouse. I have a hard time finding him clothes. So, Batman.
