I bought him from Luts, through eBay, No COA, as Luts dolls didn't come with them back in 2007. I have his original box, if that's any help. And the below box opening photos (see gallery).

Reason for choice:

I fell in love with his face on the Luts website. He turned my "just one doll" into, "Okay, just two dolls".

Best Points:

Adorable pouty face. The Kid Delf "pointing finger".

Worst Points:

He has the old, first edition body, so he's single jointed and not the best poser.

Since he's shelling a 10 year old boy, I styled him to look the part. Ben is a young boy with wild, curly hair that his mom has no idea what to do with. Since he's always out exploring the world, even the most careful hair grooming ends up a poofy mess in short order. The mess is completely intentional. Also, to make him look younger, I went up a size on his recommended eye size of 16mm. Since they're dark brown, they probably look even bigger. But the character is described as having large, dark, curious eyes, so this works perfectly for me.
