Reason for choice:

I just loved that face.

Best Points:

I adore his resin, it's smooth and almost has the slightest tiny sparkle, like marble. He's very cuddly, and poses very naturally. I love the glower on his face most of the time. He's one of the most "alive" looking dolls I have. He's just awesome. (The resin and body have changed, since he was made.)

Worst Points:

Remember, he's on the OLD Dolkot body, so this doesn't necessarily apply to the newer ones. He is difficult to stand. My worse stander, I think. I love him anyway. Also, he is strung with no hooks at wrist and ankle - the string will have to be cut or untied to remove it. This contributes to his standing issues, as I've only tightened and not re-strung him ever. His ears are removable. This seems like a good idea - switch them out for elf ears! Except I only have the human ones, and the first several times he fell over the headcap AND ears flew across the room. Now there's a ton of sticky-tack in there holding everything on. He also has sticky-outy dumbo ears, which he hides in his hair. Everybody has something they don't like about their looks, I suppose...

Crow is too busy being captain of the airship Resolute to worry much about fashion. He mostly ends up running around in his brown boots, gray pants (a bit baggy, and held up with a belt), and a white button-down that won't always stay tucked in. Always with his goggles on his head, of course.

Name story:

I seem to have a bit of a crow/raven/corvid theme going on here, with many of my doll's names. "Crow" just popped in my head one day, and I knew that was his name.

Crow is the captain of the airship Resolute. He and his crew of adventurers and occasional privateers (they have a LICENSE, no it is not piracy!) travel the world searching for treasure - both ones they've heard rumors of, and ones they've been commissioned to find.
They're often distracted or tripped up by a crew of pirates, led by Crow's (very distant. Very.) cousin Samuel.
Crow, Sam, Finn and Cecily grew up together, and were once great friends.
