Calanthe is much older than she appears. She is also one of the ancients and is one of the few that has known Tempest since childhood. Calanthe is the dragon of Spring and ever since she can remember has been following behind Tempest and changing the season from Winter to Spring. She can breath fire and uses that power to thaw out everything and warm the air up. She also helps the plants grow and can often be seen flying around meadows singing and having the plants in the meadow respond to her voice.
