Reason for choice:

For one thing, I love cats & so cat anthros will probably always make up a good portion of my resin family.
I fell in love with the sweet boyish look of the limited Evans ~Tea Party~ face-up & his overall aesthetic. I had already had 2 of Dearmine's Dear Lover boys on the more beast-like cat body but fell in love with the school-boy look Evans ~Tea Party~ had when Dearmine featured promotional photos of him on the human boy body.
Dearmine is one of my favourite doll companies. I particularly love the 1/4 scale Dear Lover anthro range & plan to continue to grow my resin family from this range over time.

Best Points:

The human boy body has a wonderfully delicate slight look to it with just enough lean muscle to give it more of a mid-teen look
Dearmine did a wonderful job with Evans ~Tea Party~ face-up, it has a beautiful bold yet delicate linear style to it that is reminiscent of certain styles of manga illustration I prefer.
I love the wonderful unique tooth Dearmine's resin has along with its sturdiness.

Worst Points:

Like the Cat boy body, Dearmine's human boy body has an issue with the knees liking to pop out of position randomly.
The Dear Lover human boy body feet are on the smaller side, very much like FL / CP Minifee boy feet so finding footwear that fits is a bit tricky. However, clothing wise the rest of the boy body being almost identical in measurement to the FL / CP Minifee bodyis less of a problem as there are abundant clothes in this size available from various Etsy sellers.

Well dressed student is the general look of the majority of Callum's current wardrobe at the moment. Generally well groomed & well dressed young man is probably going to be the basis for any style I put him in as that's how I see him ^^
I have tried a dark fantasy look for Callum & do like this look on him as well.

Name story:

Named after Callum Buchanan of James Herriot's All Creatures Great & Small books & the consequential TV series.

Likes: Quiet time to himself, good books, good coffee, Helena (despite all her teasing)

Dislikes: Aaron - he can't put his finger on it but he just doesn't like him
Personality: Quiet, reserved, happy in his own company

Relationships: None, although he does like Helena a lot. However, as it is fairly obvious she has feelings for Aaron he is content just to be a close friend.
Any additional info/backstory: Came to know Helena when his family moved into a neighboring suburb and Callum's family received generous assistance from the Meowford family to help them establish themselves and find work. Helena took it upon herself to introduce the very young and very shy Callum to his new neighborhood and they quickly became friends, much at Helena's insistence at first but they have still remained friends to this day. Helena is one of the few people Callum is happy to open up to, not being the type to make friends easily.
