Reason for choice:

That adorable smile; seriously, this is one of the happiest little sculpts ever

Best Points:

His facial expression, posing, and wonderfully soft resin color

Worst Points:

A few seam lines; I had to fix his little foot when it popped across the room for no good reason

My tiny little house djinn--responsible for battling dust bunnies, chasing away unwelcome pests (but not lizards; we like those), and making sure that every day I'm greeted with a smile first thing in the morning

While he will sometimes take on aspects of the "Arabian Nights" style of genie, he's comfortable in most clothing styles, and can best be described as liking clothes that are "cuddly;" no pink, though

His name is the punchline of the short story "Djinn, No Chaser," by Harlan Ellison (apparently this story was made into a very bad "Tales from the Darkside" TV episode in the 80's); you should go read it!

Canopener is a djinn. A tiny little magical being who lives in an antique brass lamp. Although pretty useless at major tasks, he excels at bringing cheer and being minorly useful around the house. His main purpose is being cute and happy and cheering me up when I need a friendly smile. He's very good at that.

Likes: Opening cans, cheese, playing hide and seek with missing body parts, grinning like there's no tomorrow

Dislikes: Sadness, yelling, not being allowed to play in all possible spots, missing feet
