Reason for choice:

After about ten-fourteen years thinking about joining the hobby but being intimidated by the price and lack of attachment to any sculpt, I discovered the now more popular trend of fantasy dolls, and the rapidly decreasing prices for beautiful, original dolls. Yao was the first sculpt that spoke to me on a very personal level, and here she is!

Best Points:

Stands beautifully, has some really unique poses with her feet, and has fully jointed torso for very manipulable poses.

Worst Points:

Her nose is more prominent than the rest of her sculpt seems to allude to. Her legs don't support her weight in digitigrade position.

Junkyspot supplied on purchase. Seem to be hollow acrylic, match their 14LD09 eyes.

Name story:

Ah! What a cool question! She's named for the asterism/constellation Capricorn, meaning sea goat, but she only inherited the part that shounds like capricious, since I expected that to be her personality! I'm obsessed with Astronomy.

Caprica is from a small town, where she was given up to be raised in the ways of magic by her parents. Her tutor keeps their identities wholly secret. Caprica herself is extremely talented in magical arts, but sometimes impatient and a bit stubborn. She wants very badly to be the next Head Magister of the kingdom's Magical Defence Force, but she has a long way to go.
