Amy

Translucent Pink Skin
Body:
Angell-Studio
Sex:

  • Face-up artist(s):
    GamerGirlLexi
    Body blushing artist(s):
    Myself (Raine Fournier)
    Date of acquisition:
    January 2nd, 2013
    Provenance:
    Purchased directly from MintOnCard
    Reason for choice:
    This had been my 'dream' sculpt for this character for a long time. After originally shelling her in an Angel of Dream Rao, followed by a Custom House Spia, I finally admit it to myself and saved up to buy this lovely girl.
    Best Points:
    She poses like a /dream/. More manageable than nearly any doll I've ever played with.
    Worst Points:
    Her joints and posing, while fabulous, are very clunky and awkward looking. She lacks a certain grace that I wish she had.
  • Eyes:
    Captured in Glass ET73, 12mm
    Wig:
    Monique Ginger in 'Ginger'
    Favourite colours:
    Green, red/copper.
    Fashion style(s):
    Modern styles, anything suited to the road (jeans and her tell-tale leather jacket) with the occasional simple dress or skirt that's bound to find itself stained with motor oil.
    Key fashion accessory:
    Perhaps not a fashion accessory, but her violin goes everywhere she goes.
  • Name story:
    Her first name was partially after my great-grandmother, often heard about in tales as a wonderful woman with long hair, and Saint Cecilia, the patroness of music. Her surname was actually taken from a road sign! Seemed too fitting for the character, too.
    Character age:
    19
    Character gender:
    Female
    Offsite roleplay:
    This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
    Cecilia is a 19 year old girl from a small, middle-of-nowhere town deep in the Nevada desert. Seeing no appeal in her anticipated lifestyle of a diner waitress-to-homemaker in a town where no one has aspirations further than graduating high school (and perhaps not even that), she decided at an unexpected crossroads to change her life and take to the open road with her violin in tow. Tales and trials soon followed, but she has yet to regret it and as time passes, the idea of stagnation in her old hometown seems more and more like a bad dream.
